This guided meditation is designed to alleviate anxiety about an upcoming difficult conversation.

Through the incorporation of the 3-3-3 tool for anxiety,

You'll be gently guided to release tension and find inner calm.

Bringing to mind any worries about this difficult conversation.

Allowing them to be.

Take a breath in and a long breath out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in and out.

Imagine those worries now are in a heavy suitcase.

Notice the weight of the suitcase.

Noticing how carrying them feels to you.

Realize that worries will come up naturally and most of what you worry about will not happen.

Allow that suitcase be placed down and feel the weight lift off your shoulders.

Feel the lightness and relief.

Smiling and silently affirm,

May I be well.

May I be calm.

And I can do this.

May I be well.

May I be calm.

I can do this.

May I be well.

May I be calm.

I can do this.

Now let's incorporate the 3-3 tool for anxiety.

Open the eyes.

Look around.

And noticing 3 different objects.

Noticing the shapes,

Colors and textures.

Awareness now to the sounds you can hear.

And finally,

Awareness to your body.

Moving the neck.

Moving the hands.

Moving the toes.

Feeling the feet connected to the floor beneath you.

Know you can come back to this meditation at any time.
