This is a time for you to slow down and draw your energy that has been scattered and left behind back to you,
To call your energy home,
To a place of quiet centeredness,
Inside.
There is nothing for you to do,
No effort required,
Just allow the process,
Just listen to the sound of my voice with intimate attention.
Follow along with my words and let your mind settle.
You don't need to try,
Just relax.
Allow the momentum of your day or of your agenda to slow down.
Just for now,
Give yourself this time to rest and become centered.
There is nowhere to go and nothing to do right now,
Allow yourself to rest and listen to my voice.
You will want to lie down or recline in a restful position,
Perhaps you wish to cover yourself in a light blanket or wrap for security and warmth,
And maybe put a pillow behind your knees for extra support for your back.
You don't need to do anything,
Just make sure you are in a place where you can fully relax and let all your muscles go and be very comfortable.
Allow your attention and brainwaves to slowly calm down while you listen to my voice.
You don't need to do anything,
This slowing down process is very natural for your body,
It is natural as sleep.
And to get started,
We will do a few breaths together to ground us into our bodies and into the present moment.
So if you would now,
Go ahead and take two sips of air in through your nose and hold,
And then release with an exhale out your mouth.
We'll do it two more times,
So breathing two sips of air in through the nose,
And holding,
And then exhaling through the mouth,
And one more time.
And if you're not all ready,
You can go ahead and lay down.
Make sure that your spine is straight,
And the back of your neck long,
With your shoulders relaxed and down.
Arms and legs should be uncrossed,
Long and relaxed.
There is nothing for you to do here,
Just relax into stillness.
If at any time you feel the need to adjust the body to get more comfortable,
That is perfectly fine.
All you need to do is listen to my voice and be comfortable.
Whatever you experience today is exactly what you need.
Your body holds its own wisdom and intuition,
And it will make sure you take from this process what you really need.
Just allow your ears to be open and receive the sounds.
Sounds in my recording,
And perhaps sounds in the place where you are.
Sounds in your room,
Maybe sounds in the distance.
Maybe you noticed the sound of your own breath or heartbeat.
Just allow your ears to be super receptive in receiving the sounds.
And also begin to notice your body now,
And notice the outer edges of your body,
And mentally trace the outline of your body.
Notice the places where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you.
Notice the weight of your body,
The air on your skin or on your face,
Any clothing or blankets touching your body.
And allow any residual tension to melt from the forehead,
The eyebrows,
The eyes,
Releasing any tension in the jaw,
Allowing the jaw to be soft,
And the neck and shoulders releasing.
And now tuning into the breath,
The natural breath flowing in and out of the body.
And with each exhale,
The body lets go a little more,
Allowing your natural breath to flow throughout your body,
Paying particular attention to the exhale.
And with each exhale,
The body releases a little more,
And you're letting go,
And slowing down,
Arriving to stillness.
You are safe.
As you lay here now,
Feel into the base of your spine,
Your root chakra.
This deep reservoir,
A portal into your instinctual impulse.
Beyond the thinking mind,
Your root is your baseline.
Allow yourself to tap into this portal without judgment.
Just observe what's here.
Allow any emotions,
Feelings or physical sensations to rise.
You don't need to analyze what is happening here.
Just give your root chakra the space to awaken and breathe.
All you're doing is witnessing the energy that is here.
Now if you can imagine roots developing in your root chakra,
And slowly growing down.
Down through your body,
Your legs,
Your feet,
And into the earth.
Cracking past the surface of the earth,
Into the soil,
Deep into the soil past rocks,
Underground springs and pools,
And deeper and deeper into the earth,
Into the center of Gaia.
Your roots are now plugged into Mother Gaia,
Into her resonant field,
Into her vibration.
You feel her heartbeat,
And your own heartbeat syncs with hers.
Through your roots,
The solidity,
The ancient power and nourishing energy of Gaia flows into your being.
And now gently notice what is happening to your body.
Perhaps you experience a feeling of stillness,
Relaxation,
Solidity,
Grounding or power.
Welcome any sensations you receive from connecting with Mother Gaia,
And bask in them.
Focus on them and allow them to intensify and spread from your root chakra to wherever they would like to go in your body.
And now it is time to call forth your Sankalpa.
Sankalpa is a short positive statement of your heart's deepest desire in this life.
If you're currently working with a Sankalpa,
You may call that to mind now.
Otherwise,
Feel free to use this one.
It is safe for me to open and receive with ease.
Whispering the Sankalpa silently to yourself three times.
Bring your attention now to the point between your eyebrows,
The centre of the forehead.
Spreading across the forehead.
The left temple.
The left cheekbone.
The bridge of the nose.
The right cheekbone.
The right temple.
The crown of the head.

The tips of all five fingers.
The space between the fingers.

The upper arm.
The shoulder.
The point in between the collarbones.

All fingers on the left hand.
And the tips of all five fingers.
Space in between the fingers.

And the entire right leg as one unit.
Allow your attention to move into your left hip.

Top of the foot.
Tip of the left big toe.
And each of the remaining toes one by one with the left big toe.

Lower leg.
Knee.
And the entire left leg as one unit.
Both hip joints.
The entire pelvis.
The tailbone.
The root chakra.
The lower back.
And the belly.
You are safe.
Notice now your natural breath.
Unaltered breath flowing in and out of the body.
Smooth and rhythmic air flow in the nostrils.
The slight expansion and release of the belly.
Breathing in and out.
The subtle rise and fall of the abdomen.
Without changing your breath.
Notice it flowing from the head down to the belly.
With every breath in,
Allow breath to come in through your crown and flow down the body.
And as you exhale,
Imagine the breath rolling up from your root chakra and back out the crown.
Imagine inhaling down through the crown to the tailbone.
And exhaling from the tailbone up and out the crown.
In through the crown and down.
Up from the tailbone and out.
In and down.
Up and out.
Follow the breath like this for a few moments.
It goes in and down.
And up and out.
And on your next exhale,
You can release this visualization.
And allow yourself to start to feel expansive like gas.
Floating.
Spacious.
Light.
Opening.
Floating in space.
And now begin to contract.
Closing.
Tightening.
Becoming dense.
Compressed.
Rigid.
Tight.
Heavy.
Heavy and tight.
And now back to open.
Feeling open.
Spacious.
Expansive like gas.
Light.
Opening.
Dispersing.
Floating in space.
And once again contracting.
Closing.
Tightening.
Becoming dense.
Heavy.
Tight.
Rigid.
Compressed.
And now can you invite both feelings to be here at once.
Openness and closedness both at the same time without merging the two.
Feel both open and expanded and closed and tight.
Your awareness suspended between the two sensations.
Noticing both at once.
And you may release this feeling now.
And bring your attention to your third eye center.
And now just begin to imagine.
You find yourself standing in a vast open field at dawn.
Where the air is cool and pure.
The grass beneath you sparkles with dew.
Each droplet catching the sun and scattering tiny rainbows across the earth.
Light dancing and refracting everywhere.
This world feels awake and alive with possibility.
As you breathe in,
Feel this light entering your body.
Nourishing you abundantly.
Ahead you notice a grove of fruit trees.
Their branches bent gently with weight.
Ripe,
Generous and overflowing.
The scent of sweetness fills the air.
And you begin walking slowly through the field.
And each step feels grounded,
Supported,
Rhythmic and good.
Your connection to the light deepens with every breath and with every step.
As you reach the trees,
You touch a branch and a piece of heavy fruit drops softly into your hand.
Perfectly ready and perfectly given.
In this moment,
Feel the truth of abundance.
There is always enough.
The earth gives freely and you are a part of that giving.
Feel the field,
The light,
The trees,
The fruit.
All reflecting back to you your own natural abundance that is here in every moment.
And now you may release all imagery and just rest here now.
You are safe.
You are supported here and alive in the present moment.
Allow yourself to recognize this natural state of goodness and abundance that you've created within yourself today.
And once again,
You may bring your sankalpa to mind.
It is safe for me to open and receive with ease.
Repeat your sankalpa silently to yourself three times.
And once again,
Bring your attention to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Breath flowing like ocean waves washing in and out of the body.
Notice the soft rise and fall of the abdomen.
Noticing the stillness in your spine,
Your arms and hands,
Your legs and feet,
And your heartbeat.
And you can begin to feel the surface beneath your body.
Your clothing and your blankets.
The air touching your skin.
The sounds in this recording and the sounds that might be around you in your environment.
Notice any sense in the air or any taste in the mouth.
And focusing your breath now,
Take two big sips of air in through the nose and hold it at the top.
And then slowly exhale out the mouth.
And go ahead and do this one more time.
And now bring little movements into the fingers and toes.
You may rub the palms together.
Perhaps you'd like to take a big stretch.
And then when you feel ready,
You may open your eyes.
And remember this sense of abundance.
It is natural and it is within you.
And you can return to this space any time you feel the need to tap into your root chakra and your natural state of abundance.
Namaste.
