Have a nice comfortable position wherever you are.

Have a seat.

Nice relaxed standing comfortable position.

Or perhaps you would rather lie down.

Notice the cushions or the surface you are sitting on,

Standing or lying on.

Notice how your body is in relation to the surface.

If you could be 5 or 10% more comfortable,

Please adjust your body.

As you take a nice breath in,

Slower breath out.

Notice how the body breathes itself.

Notice how your chest rises or your belly fully inflates.

And that nice nourishing inhale.

Invite in any emotions,

Thoughts,

Memories,

Perhaps images.

In this moment,

Thinking about the holiday that just passed.

Thinking of the many moments,

Maybe loved ones you spent the holiday with.

Or maybe it was some downtime for you and you really embraced relaxing,

Mindful,

Nothing to do moments.

If you were with loved ones or even one loved one or your fur babies,

Think of a nourishing moment that brought laughter or a smile to your face.

Picture their face or faces.

Notice what's happening in your body,

How it lands as you think of this loving moment.

One that perhaps you said to yourself during that moment.

Wow,

I wish I had more of these.

Notice any memories from the past that are coming up.

As if you're looking at yourself in the memory or as if you're in a dream state looking out.

Notice if there's any tightness in your shoulders,

Any upset stomach,

Any feelings of stress that are coming up.

Now welcome in any moments of joy during that memory.

Maybe you have warm tingly sensation in your hands.

Perhaps you're breathing deeper,

More relaxed.

Feeling such a sense of gratitude.

Notice what's happening in your heart energetically with moments of gratitude.

Welcome in a moment of loving self,

Loving kindness.

Who you are.

How you are.

Welcome in any colors that you're envisioning in your mind's eye.

Realizing if those colors are surrounding your heart.

Rounding down,

Traveling all around the body.

Notice your eyes,

Nose,

Mouth,

Head,

Neck,

Shoulders,

All with eyes closed or a nice soft gaze.

Chest,

Abdomen,

Upper and lower back.

Arms,

Hands,

Fingers,

All a field of beautiful radiant sensation.

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Feet,

Toes.

All feeling chi or prana,

Energy rich environment.

Notice any I statements such as I am hungry,

I am full,

I am joyful or feel a sense of okayness,

I am cold,

I am warm,

I am happy,

I am sad,

I'm scared,

I am calm,

I am courageous.

Know that you are not your emotions,

Thoughts,

Memories,

All a field of radiant sensation.

All moving across your mind like a movie screen.

Notice the air on your skin.

Notice the temperature in the room.

Notice your breath.

Gradually blink your eyes open to open waking state,

Joining me in the room.

I want you to put one hand over your heart,

Take a nice breath in,

Pause,

Slower breath out.

I put my hands together in prayer pose,

Holding my phone,

Unable to put the other hand up.

Knowing that your prayer,

Your centeredness,

Your sense of joy in who you are and how you are will carry you through today until the next Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much for joining.

Namaste.

Take care.

There are some sound quality issues in the beginning and end but pretty clear through most of the meditation with a nice quiet background. I found my mind wandering through much of the early bit. But once we got to the broad body scan I was fully engaged. Liked the wide selection of emotions that might be coming up to be embraced.
