Welcome.

This is a quick reset for those times when your stress overwhelms you.

Something has happened.

Your body is racing.

Your mind is spinning.

Your heart is pounding.

You feel out of control.

It is time to bring yourself back.

Back to calm.

Back to clarity.

Back to your strength.

You can do this.

Find a space.

A quiet space.

A space where you can be alone.

Maybe this is in your office,

In your car,

In your bedroom.

Somewhere where you can shut the door and take a moment to reset.

Begin by collecting the energy.

The energy you need to release.

You can do this by taking a full body stretch or a shake.

Maybe doing some jumping jacks.

Try squeezing and releasing your fists or giving yourself a full body squeeze.

Whatever you do,

Gather all of your stress into this moment.

Once you have taken a moment to bring your stress to the surface through an action,

Then come into silence.

Come back to your body and back to your space.

Bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.

Close or downcast your eyes and connect to your breath.

Take a deep inhale through your nose.

Four.

Hold.

Settle.

Return your breathing to regular inhales and exhales through your nose.

Notice.

Feel yourself relaxing.

Feel yourself letting go of your stress.

Release your jaw.

Soften your forehead.

Unclench your shoulders.

Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth.

Feel the stress leaving your body with every molecule of breath.

You now have the calm,

Confident strength to handle your stressful situation with ease.

Remember,

You have the power to step out of the chaos and into your calm any time you choose.

You have the power to reset.

Reset your mind.

Reset your body.

And remember,

And remember,

The gift you give yourself of time,

Breath,

And mindfulness is a gift to everyone around you.

Thank you for gifting yourself this reset.
