Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Let your hands rest easily,

Your jaw soften,

And your eyes gently close if that's comfortable.

Exhale,

Take a slow deep breath in,

Hold for a moment,

And exhale fully.

Let your body settle,

Again,

Deep breath in,

Long controlled breath out.

Allow your mind to arrive here,

In this moment.

Feel the points of contact between your body and the ground or seat beneath you.

Imagine those points anchoring you,

They're steady,

Stable,

You're supported.

With every exhale,

Release a little tension,

The shoulders,

The hands,

The legs,

The muscles around the eyes,

Let them all soften.

Bring your attention to the center of your chest now.

Imagine a warm,

Steady light there,

A calm presence that belongs only to you.

With each breath in,

This light grows warmer.

With each breath out,

It expands,

Sending a wave of calm through your entire body.

Feel focus settling into you,

Quiet,

Sharp,

Purposeful.

Now,

Imagine yourself stepping into the environment where you perform,

Your field,

Your court,

Your gym,

Your track,

Your workplace,

Anywhere you face a personal or physical challenge.

See it clearly in your mind.

Feel the ground beneath your feet.

Notice the temperature,

The sounds.

Notice the colors around you.

You stand there with a sense of readiness.

What does that look like?

See it clearly.

Feel it clearly.

In front of you,

Imagine a version of yourself that is at your absolute best.

Calm,

Strong,

Alert,

Ready.

Watch how this version of you moves through your activity.

Confident,

Engaged,

Balanced.

Every breath steady.

Every decision sharp.

Every action is fluid.

Notice the energy in your body.

Powerful,

Controlled,

Efficient,

Yet calm.

This is you.

This is your capability.

Now,

Imagine stepping into that version of yourself.

Merge with it.

Feel your posture shift,

Your energy lift,

Your mind sharpen.

See your body ready.

Say silently to yourself,

I am focused.

I am strong.

I am calm.

I am ready.

Let those words settle into your breath and your body.

Take one more slow inhale.

Filling your lungs,

Your chest,

Your belly.

Hold it for a moment and exhale everything out.

Any lingering tension or doubt or distraction.

Feel clarity in your mind.

Strength in your body.

Calm in your emotions.

When you're ready,

Gently bring awareness back to your surroundings.

Notice your skin.

Notice the temperature of the air.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take one final grounding breath.

When it feels right,

Open your eyes.

You are ready.

You are centered.

You are capable.

Strong mind.

Strong body.

Calm emotions.
