Let's take a sec just to,
Whoop,
Drop in.
Hmm,
Get comfortable,
Make any adjustments,
Land in your space,
Get seated if you want to sit,
Lie down if you feel so cold.
Again,
There's no right or wrong with this today,
Just trusting yourself to know that you need,
To know that you know what you need in this moment.
Making any final adjustments,
From here now taking a deep breath in,
And just letting go on your exhale as you breathe out,
And again breathing in,
You're in the privacy of your own space,
Just sighing it out,
Letting it go,
Needs to be audible,
Let it be audible,
Letting it go as you breathe all the way out,
As you start to drop the stuff,
Taking a moment now to acknowledge yourself,
For showing up for today's practice,
For showing up for today's satsang,
Showing up for yourself,
And just taking a moment,
Tune in with what that means for you,
For showing up for yourself,
You've hopefully been doing a few of these now,
And just how your relationship with self has been evolving,
Just through the simple affirmation of you acknowledging you showing up for yourself in this way,
Can you feel your roots deepening,
Your ability to count on yourself,
Trust yourself,
From here now I invite you to begin by listening to the sounds that are occurring furthest away from you in the present moment,
See if you can stretch your listening,
You might be hearing birds,
You might be hearing cityscape,
You might be hearing silence,
Could be nature,
Could be wildlife,
Could be your neighbours,
What are the sounds that you hear in the present moment,
Occurring furthest away from you,
I invite you not to label the sound,
Rather pay attention to the texture,
The sound itself,
Just noticing the sounds,
Allowing the sounds to behave as sonar,
Informing you of your presence,
Here in the present moment,
Coming to the awareness,
As you're landing in your listening,
You are in fact landing in your awareness,
Connecting deeply to your awareness,
As you continue to give more and all of yourself over to your listening,
See if you can focus your listening,
See if you can go from listening to the sounds that are furthest away,
To listening to the sounds in your immediate space and environment,
The room that you're in,
Space just immediately around you,
See if you can focus your awareness,
Naturally there's the sound of my voice,
It might be pets,
Loved ones,
Nature,
Applying,
No judgement,
Pure listening,
It's an incredible skill to be able to,
From here now I invite you to contract your awareness,
Focus your awareness even further,
If you can go from listening to the sounds,
Your immediate environment,
To listening to the kinesthetic sensations of your body's breathing,
Noticing the rise and the fall as you breathe in and as you breathe out,
Inviting you to trace your breath all the way into your body as you breathe in,
Noticing the rise of chest,
Sternum,
Belly,
Wherever it is you're breathing into,
As you trace your breath,
Breathing in,
As you continue to breathe in your own time,
Noticing the softening that occurs in your body with each breath,
Naturally as you breathe all the way in,
Continuing to stay anchored,
Connected to your breath,
Knowing each inhale to expand you,
And each and every exhale to soften you,
Your edges,
Each and everything that you're holding,
And soften with each exhale,
Breathing all the way in,
And softening all the way out,
Continuing to release,
And softening all the way in your own time now,
For the next few moments,
Again there's no right or wrong,
Desire and destination,
Be present with yourself,
Allowing yourself to soften with each exhale,
Just as much as you can today,
And softening on your way out,
Continue to breathe and soften,
Invite you to come into your heart space,
Just below the center of your chest,
Almost like there's an energetic shelf there,
On which your heart space rests,
Your sternum,
Just feeling into your energetic center,
Remembering to breathe,
Remembering to soften,
This awareness of your heart space,
I invite you now to trace down your spine,
All the way down,
Past your sacral,
To an imaginary tail,
Goes all the way down,
To the earth center,
As you soften,
See if you can just invite,
To connect in deep,
To the center of the earth,
Again as you soften and breathe out,
Guiding yourself energetically,
Through your tail,
Deeper,
To connecting,
As you continue to breathe,
Feeling into this connection,
Between your heart,
And the heart of the earth,
As you continue to soften,
See what else is now being invited,
To be dropped,
To be returned,
Mother earth has this incredible ability to take what no longer serves,
Make it whole,
Make it new again,
Anything that you're holding,
Anything that's gripping,
More structure than it needs,
In your system,
Through this connection,
Again,
Down to the earth,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
As you continue the energetic exchange with the earth,
Noticing the safety,
Within which you can give,
Let go,
So much reverence,
Our incredible mother,
Listens,
Continuing to soften,
Breathing in,
And breathing out,
Here now,
If you wish to stay connected,
You're more than welcome to,
If you wish to come back,
And that feels more whole to you,
To come back into your heart center,
Rising back up into that place,
In your heart space,
Just taking a moment to feel into your softness,
Having let go,
Having released,
Having surrendered,
Connecting,
Taking stock,
Feeling into this softer you,
Noticing the profundity of the strength,
That it takes,
To allow yourself,
To be this soft,
It may even feel slightly uncomfortable,
Or it may feel like you finally come home,
Noticing the paradox of strength,
In softness,
Taking a moment to acknowledge your courage,
And the way you show up for you,
Invite you into our collective intention,
Strengthening of the softness,
The integrity to allow,
Holding space,
With compassion,
Few moments here for,
The strengths,
That it takes,
To soften,
For all the edges in the world that we see at the moment,
These hard boundaries,
Where friction and conflict emerge,
Noticing the work you've put into yourself today,
And how you've softened the edges,
Supporting yourself,
Someone from the planet,
Just offering the work forward as a prayer,
Life on earth,
This moment in time,
Softening of the edges,
Tenderness dissolving the hardness,
Allowing the structure of softness,
Connecting back into your newfound softness,
This rekindled self,
Taking a moment to tune in,
With your higher power,
Source,
God,
Creation,
Christ consciousness,
Allah,
Guru,
Speaks,
Guides,
Calls you into devotion,
Taking a moment to bow your head,
Take a knee,
Give your thanks,
As you connect in,
Giving your thanks for the structure that they provide,
Through their softness,
Their awareness,
Their loving light for you,
And if you don't believe in any of that,
That's also equally as fine,
Taking a moment to acknowledge yourself,
For showing up for today's practice,
For showing up for yourself,
Noticing what that means to you,
To be showing up for you,
In this way,
Feeling that deep in your heart space,
Gentleness within which you have your own,
Thanking yourself for showing up for today's practice,
When you're ready,
Bringing your hands together in front of your heart space,
Some warmth and friction together,
As you rub your palms together,
Covering your eyes with warm hands,
Opening your eyes behind cupped hands and lowering your hands to come back into the space,
When you're ready.
