Hello and welcome to this short meditation to help you connect to your intuition.
So come into a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
Close your eyes if you'd like and begin to turn your attention inward upon your breath.
And just notice how your breath is naturally flowing into the body and out of the body in this moment.
And you may notice just by observing your breath it begins to change.
Maybe slowing down.
Maybe becoming a little bit deeper,
Moving into the space of your belly.
And to support this movement of the breath deep into the body,
Let's scan the physical body releasing any areas of tension or discomfort.
And so bring your attention way up to the crown of your head and begin to scan down across the surface of your face.
Releasing your eyes,
Letting the jaw relax.
And moving down into your neck and your shoulders,
Let your shoulders drop heavy.
Scan all the way down into your arms and to the tips of your fingers,
Softening the palms of your hands.
And then drop your awareness down into your torso,
Noticing the ribcage,
The belly.
Sensing down into your pelvis and noticing your hips,
Letting go of any tension there.
And check in with your legs,
Releasing all the way down into your feet and your toes.
As you breathe in,
Invite your body to fill up with a sense of relaxation.
And then breathe out any last little bit of tension or stress that your body is carrying.
Now begin to shift your attention from your physical body to your inner world,
Beginning to notice any thoughts or emotions that are stirred within you.
And just like with the breath,
Just allow yourself to lean back and observe what's happening within this inner landscape of you,
Bringing acceptance to whatever you discover and embracing yourself just as you are.
Now imagine a quiet space deep within your heart center.
This is the seat of your intuition.
Connect to this place within and ask yourself a question.
Whatever it is that you'd like guidance on,
Ask yourself that question.
And then remain open and receptive,
Listening to this quiet space within your heart center.
It's as if you are trying to listen to the silence within.
And by listening to the silence,
We open up the channel to our own intuition so that we can receive the answers we seek.
And these answers may come as a feeling,
An image,
A word,
Or even a physical sensation.
So continuing to listen deeply to your own heart for another minute,
Allowing the answer to come.
Now bring your awareness back to your breath,
Breathing in slowly through the nose and just sigh out through an open mouth and acknowledge any insights that you received.
And know that if you didn't receive the answer you were seeking,
That's okay.
Often the answers come later,
But by taking time to listen to the silence within,
You have opened up the gateway to your own intuition and the answers will definitely come.
Let's take another deep breath in,
Complete breath out,
Thanking your intuition for whatever guidance it offered you today.
And I recommend after this meditation to journal about your experience if you have time.
Write down what your question was and write down any insights that you received.
And you might even want to consider how you can integrate this guidance into your life.
Your intuition is a subtle voice,
But by quieting your mind and becoming present and giving yourself time to tune in to the quiet space within,
You can begin to tap into your innate knowing and really discern its wisdom and trust its guidance more deeply in your daily life.
