Welcome to this short and sweet meditation practice to help you cultivate a sense of inner alignment so that you can confidently express in the world as who you truly are.
So please come into a comfortable seat.
Close your eyes if you'd like and take a nice deep breath in and a complete breath out fully arriving here in the present moment for this practice.
And then just invite your breath to slow down and become a little bit more rhythmic and balanced.
And we're going to travel through the different layers of self,
Letting the breath weave a connection between them all,
Delivering us the sense of wholeness,
This sense of integration and alignment.
When we feel connected to our whole self,
We tap into inner confidence and we feel as though we can express as who we really are.
So starting with your physical body,
See if you can let your awareness encompass your entire body and breathe in to your whole body.
Breathing out of your whole body,
Noticing sensations.
How is your body feeling today?
And from your physical body,
Transitioning into your emotional body.
And as you breathe in,
Let your breath connect to this part of you that feels emotions.
Breathing in with any emotions arising in this moment and breathing out completely.
Noticing how you are emotionally today.
And from your emotional self,
Moving into your mental body.
The part of you that thinks.
The part of you that has a mind.
Breathe in as you connect to this thoughtful aspect of you.
And become a witness to your thinking mind.
How are your thoughts flowing today?
Is your mind busy or quiet?
Is your mind positive or negative?
And just take a breath in to your mental body.
Breathe out completely.
Now lastly,
Transitioning into your spiritual body.
This is the part of you that is expansive.
This is the part of you that is filled with possibility.
This is the part of you that is limitless.
And when you shift your attention to your spiritual body,
You may feel larger than life.
This part of you expands beyond the boundaries of your physical body.
And in a way,
It holds all other aspects of you.
Your mind,
Your emotions,
And your body are all held by this expansive realm of spirit.
So take a breath in.
This is what this part of you feels like today.
This spiritual aspect of you.
Breathe out completely.
And then honoring all of these layers of yourself.
And letting the breath weave them together into alignment.
Breathing in to your physical self.
Breathing out.
Breathing in to your emotional self.
Exhaling out.
Breathing in to your mental self.
Your mind.
Exhaling.
This expansive spiritual part of you.
Exhaling out completely.
And then moving from your spiritual body back to your mental body,
Your emotional body,
And your physical body.
Take one more deep breath in.
Weaving all of these aspects of self together.
Breathing out.
Feeling integration.
Feeling alignment.
Feeling wholeness within.
Now to wrap up this practice,
Let's ground this experience.
So take your attention down into your body.
Down into the support beneath your body.
And then move your awareness down into the earth.
Grounding yourself.
Grounding your energy.
Grounding this practice.
And grounding the sense of alignment between your physical body,
Your emotional body,
Mental body,
And spiritual body.
Take one last deep breath in through the nose.
Sigh it out through an open mouth.
May you bring this sense of inner alignment between all aspects of who you are with you into all that you do.
