So take a seat in nature and close your eyes just for a moment and put your awareness to what you can hear,
All the sounds that are around you listen to the sounds both near and far and from all directions and then put your attention to your sense of smell,
What smells are there around you and very conscious of the smells maybe you want to lower your head slightly to smell the grass or the wooden floor whatever is around you and you may slowly open your eyes and now stretch out your hand and touch what is there what is it that you can feel?
Is it wet or dry?
Is it soft or hot?
Is it moist?
What's the quality of it?
And now look what you see,
Fix your eyes on a spot maximum one square meter in front of you and lower down your head as much as you feel comfortable to really see and observe what is there you will do this now for the next 20 minutes just sitting there and observing and whenever an animal crosses your way like an ant or a small spider or a fly or a beetle or whatever there might be you address this living being with the question of who are you that I am also?
Then you listen whether you hear an answer either from inside or outside and you may ask a second question and the second question is who am I that you are too?
Who am I that you are too?
You can just think these sentences if you feel more comfortable like that but once in a while try also to say them out loud trying to see whether that has a different effect on you try to simply sit there and perceive and maybe you can lower your head even more to get a better look right now we're just using our eyes and we're using our mind to see what we perceive and if you encounter another being ask it who are you that I am also?
And who am I that you are too?
Stay present and observe what is there right in front of you and if you encounter another being ask it who are you that I am also?
And who am I that you are too?
And if you encounter another being ask it who are you that I am also?
And who am I that you are too?
Stay present and observe what is there right in front of you and if you encounter another being ask it who are you that I am also?
And who am I that you are too?
And if you encounter another being ask it who are you that I am also?
And who am I that you are too?
You can now sit up again upright raising your head and for one moment simply closing your eyes and remaining in gratitude for taking this time to look and be in nature to take the time for encounters both with the other and yourself once more open your ears and hear what you perceive around you smell what is there touch what is around you and close your eyes in deep gratitude for nature of which you are apart
