With relaxation comes heaviness. As you get heavier, you relax. Listen, learn, and integrate. When the body starts to sink down into meditation or sleep or relaxation, many people start to feel a natural state of heaviness. Generating this heaviness can bring about relaxation.

Music Take some time now to relax.

Music Make sure you're sitting comfortably.

Take a gentle deep breath in and out.

And close your eyes.

Make sure your feet are on the floor.

And your hands are separate on your lap.

Music Feel the weight of your feet on the floor.

The weight of your calves.

The weight of your thighs.

And imagine that heaviness increasing.

Don't try.

Just allow.

Become aware of the weight.

The heaviness of your legs and feet.

And imagine it increasing.

Imagine your legs are becoming as heavy as lead.

Become aware of the weight of your hands resting on your lap.

The weight of your arms.

And imagine your arms and hands becoming heavier.

Imagine the shoulders dropping.

And as they do,

Your arms and hands becoming even heavier.

That's right.

Don't try.

Just allow it to happen.

Imagine your arms and hands are becoming as heavy as lead.

And breathe.

Become aware of the weights of your entire body in the chair.

Notice how the chair supports you.

And imagine your entire body becoming heavier and heavier.

As if it's wanting to sink down deeper and deeper into the chair.

Just let your body go as heavy as lead.

Let it relax completely.

Slow.

Relaxed.

Heavy.

And breathe.

Gently breathe.

Good.

Relax.

In this heavy state,

Your muscles are recharging.

Rebuilding.

Reenergizing.

So,

Curiously,

Surprisingly,

Even after a short relaxation like this,

Many people notice that they're feeling more energized afterwards.

More centered and grounded and focused.

So start to bring yourself back into the moment now.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Gently move your arms and legs.

Raise your shoulders a little.

Take a deeper breath.

A gentle stretch.

And open your eyes.

Gently open your eyes.

Fully back in the room.

Fully aware.

Fully awake.

Centered.

Grounded.

Focused.

Welcome back.

Be gentle with yourself.
