Discover self-love meditation and reduce the tendencies that you have toward self-criticism, lead yourself to positive growth in your confidence to show others who you really are, and enable yourself to view any periods in which you feel inadequate or not up to a task as fleeting instead of permanent, reduce your anxiety, depression and other forms of suffering that can arise from feeling you are not ‘enough’, and increase the amount of compassion you feel for yourself and for others.

Transcript

Allow yourself to get comfortable while your spine is straight,

Your back is nice and tall,

And you can rest your hands wherever it feels comfortable.

Let's take a deep inhale for 1,

2,

3,

4 and 5 and a slow exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2 and 1.

Inhale for 1,

2,

3,

4 and 5 and exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2 and 1.

One more time,

Inhale and exhale.

And now allow your eyes to close gently and your breath to be natural and easy.

For this meditation I would like you to place both hands over your heart and bring your attention to your breath.

Every in-breath your heart expands and every out-breath your heart takes back its initial shape.

You breath in,

Your heart expands,

You breath out,

Your heart takes back its initial shape.

Breath in,

Breath out.

How does it feel to place your hands over your heart,

This place where you experience love for yourself and for others?

Let your breath be natural and easy and when you focus on your heart and your breathing,

I want you to imagine that every breath you take it fills your body with positivity,

With caring words,

With kindness,

With respect for yourself,

With self-esteem,

With willpower and especially with love for yourself.

And when you breath out,

I want you to imagine any negative thoughts,

Any negative words that you think you are or that people have told you.

You breath in love,

And you breath out negativity.

While you keep focusing on your breathing,

I would like you to repeat a mantra between each breath.

And this mantra is,

I am enough,

I am worthy,

I am me.

I am enough,

I am worthy,

I am me.

Keep repeating this mantra as many times as you'd like,

The next couple of minutes.

I am enough,

I am worthy,

I am me.

And if thoughts are coming in and taking over,

Simply acknowledge those thoughts and let them go.

Don't pay attention to them and focus on your mantra.

I am enough,

I am worthy,

I am me.

You breath in love and you breath out negativity.

I am enough,

I am enough for myself,

I am enough for the people who love me,

I am worthy,

I deserve to be healed,

I am me,

I am not pretending,

I am me,

I love myself for who I am.

I am enough,

I am worthy,

I am me.

And while we arrive at the end of this session,

Let's take a deep inhale for 1,

2,

3,

4 and 5,

And a slow exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2 and 1.

Inhale and exhale.
