Enhance your senses and calm your soul.
Within this meditation I am going to guide you on a shamanic journey of awakening all of your senses so that you can begin to calm your soul and so that you can also connect with an altered state of consciousness so that you can begin awakening to your true self.
In the western world it is said that we connect with 5 senses each and every day.
Yet as we connect with our spiritual journey and our shamanic path we begin to connect with an altered state of consciousness as we awaken to all of our senses as we connect with our inner world as well as that outer world.
And so within this guided meditation I am going to take you on a journey of sharpening those senses.
So lets first of all connect with the 7 senses at which we speak about within shamanism.
1 is for instinct.
2 is for feeling.
3 is for speaking.
4 is for tasting.
5 is for seeing.
6 is for hearing and 7 is for smelling.
Now as you connect with each and every one of these senses you can then shift in to this altered state of consciousness and begin to tune in to who you are as you awaken to your true self and begin living more in alignment with your soul's path.
So let me now guide you on this journey as you begin awakening each and every one of those senses.
And so lets begin this guided meditation.
I'd like you to start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
One final time.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And just allow yourself to relax and let go as you tune in to your senses.
I'd like you to first of all focus on a spot in the distance.
Either on the wall or on the ceiling as you lay there and relax.
As you focus on that spot,
Allow your awareness to expand around you.
As you continue to focus on your breathing,
Taking that deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and allow yourself to relax you may begin to notice your peripheral vision.
As you notice what surrounds you in the room.
As you notice what you notice,
You may begin to notice not only what you see but what you hear in your surroundings.
Take that deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And allow your eyes to close.
When you allow your eyes to close,
What I'd like for you to do is to tune in to your surroundings.
Tune in to your senses.
Notice what you hear around you.
Maybe you hear the sounds of nature.
Maybe you hear birds tweeting.
Maybe you hear the sound of rain as it falls upon your house.
Or you may begin to notice other sounds around you.
Allow yourself to tune in to your senses.
As you begin to do that,
Notice and connect to your body.
As we first tune in to each and every muscle and fibre in your body.
As you begin to relax more deeply and more easily.
As you begin relaxing the top of your head.
Bringing that relaxation down through your face.
As you relax your eyelids,
Your cheekbones,
Your mouth.
And then begin relaxing your neck.
As you continue focusing on your breathing.
Taking that deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you bring that relaxation further down now and deeper down to your shoulders.
Then down through to your torso.
Through your arms.
As you relax your arms and your torso.
And you bring that relaxation further down and deeper down to your stomach.
Relaxing your stomach now.
And now slowly bring that relaxation further down.
And deeper down through your legs.
Through to your knees.
And all the way down to your ankles.
And slowly to the tips of your toes.
Notice how you are tuning in to each and every one of your senses.
Though you may not see,
Visions may come to you at this time.
Visions to bring you clarity.
As you think about what it is you're bringing in to your life and into your awareness.
Tuning in to those sounds at which we've already connected with.
Notice how your awareness is becoming more and more heightened.
And now what I'd like for you to do is feel into that body.
As you've relaxed each and every muscle and fibre in your body.
I want you to tune in to your body and notice how you feel in this moment.
Are there any emotions that are arising from within you that need to be witnessed or visited?
Maybe even reflected upon.
Allow them to come into your awareness within your body.
Notice how they feel as you allow yourself to transform them.
You begin connecting with each and every one of your senses.
You may begin to even notice your sense of taste as you feel the tongue in your mouth.
As you've relaxed each and every muscle and fibre in your body.
Each and every muscle and fibre in your body.
I'd like you to tune in to the auric field that surrounds you.
That electromagnetic vibration that allows you to tune in to your intuition.
Your instinct.
As you tune in to your instincts,
You may begin to notice and reflect upon situations in your life.
As you bring about that greater sense of awareness.
Allow yourself to feel in to your gut and know that your gut is speaking to you.
Allow yourself to tune in to each and every one of these senses.
Allow these visions to bring clarity and awareness to your mind,
Your body and your soul.
Allow yourself to see all that it is to be seen.
For we are here to see beyond the conditional world.
Beyond the third dimensional realities.
And realise that we can see much more than the 3D awareness can allow us to see.
As we connect with our spiritual self.
We tune in to our instincts.
Our feelings.
Connect with what it is that we speak.
Embrace that taste in which we feel.
Notice what we see.
What we hear.
And what we even begin to smell.
And as you connect with this greater sense of awareness.
You can begin to truly calm your mind,
Your body and your soul.
So allow yourself to see what you see beyond the physical realms and beyond your conditioning.
Allow yourself to hear what you hear as your senses become attuned to your surroundings.
Allow yourself to smell.
As you create this experience inside of your mind.
As you expand your awareness.
As you connect with your soul.
Bring all of these senses into your awareness.
As you connect with that deep instinct.
That gut intuition that is guiding you in each and every moment.
Take that deep breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
And what I'd like for you to do is sit there for a moment.
With this expansive awareness.
As you allow yourself to see beyond the physical realm and your conditioning.
In order to bring clarity,
Awareness and peace to your mind,
Your body and your soul.
Sit and connect with your senses.
See through your eyes.
Hear through your ears.
Allow yourself to feel what it is you feel deep inside.
And become aware of this reality beyond.
At which you may see within the third dimensions.
As you create and connect with this greater sense of awareness.
That's right.
And then what I'd like for you to do.
As you've done this.
Is take that deep breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
And allow yourself to calm your mind,
Your body and your soul.
And know that you can come back to this guided meditation at any time.
In order to enhance your senses and calm your soul.
So take that deep breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
And allow yourself to come back to now.
And slowly allow yourself to re-acclimatise to yourself and your surroundings.
You may even begin to notice that greater sense of awareness within your life.
And within your surroundings at this very present moment.
As you've began to tune into them.
