Today we're gonna have a full EFT tapping session to soften the voice of your inner critic.

Part of you that whispers you're not doing enough,

You're not being enough,

You're not lovable enough.

And we are here to challenge her.

We are also here to meet her,

Hear her,

And offer her something deeper.

Compassion.

Before we begin,

Gently scan your body.

From the crown of your head,

To your face,

Shoulders,

Chest,

Belly,

Hips,

Legs,

And feet.

And feel what is present.

Feel your emotions.

Feel how critical you are right now of yourself.

And give this a number from 0 to 10,

With 10 being super critical.

And take one hand on your heart,

And one hand on your belly.

And then take a deep inhale in through the nose.

And exhale through the mouth.

Let it go.

So let's begin.

We're going to start with a setup statement.

We're going to tap on the karate chop point on the side of your hand.

And then repeat after me.

Even though I have this voice inside me that says I'm not enough,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I've been hard on myself,

Maybe for years,

I honor how I feel,

And I'm open to a new way.

Even though part of me believes I need to be perfect to be loved,

I choose to love myself instead.

All right,

Let's move to the first round of tapping.

Now tap on the eyebrow point and keep repeating after me.

This voice inside me feels so loud sometimes.

Side of the eye temples.

It says I'm not doing enough.

Under the eye,

That I'll never catch up.

Under the nose,

That I have to try harder to be lovable.

Chin,

That rest is laziness.

Collarbone,

That my body isn't good enough.

Under the arm,

That I always fall short.

Top of the head,

And it hurts.

Eyebrow,

This voice is always judging.

Side of the eye,

Always measuring.

Under the eye,

Always telling me what's wrong.

Under the nose,

I've carried her for so long.

Chin,

She shows up when I look in the mirror.

Collarbone,

When I scroll through social media.

Under the arm,

When I feel soft or slow.

Top of the head,

And when I make a mistake.

Eyebrow,

Sometimes she sounds like my mother.

Side of the eye,

Or some teacher from childhood.

Under the eye,

Or just society itself.

Under the nose,

And sometimes she sounds just like me.

Chin,

I believed I needed her to survive.

Collarbone,

That she'd keep me safe.

Under the arm,

That she's exhausting me.

Top of the head,

And I'm ready to change.

Take a deep breath here,

And let yourself feel whatever is there.

You're safe.

Start tapping again on the eyebrow point.

I see this pattern now.

Side of the eye,

This voice is trying to protect me.

Under the eye,

But it's using all tools.

Under the nose,

I don't need punishment to grow.

Chin,

I need love.

Collarbone,

I don't need to be perfect to be safe.

Under the arm,

I'm learning to soften.

Top of the head,

I can meet myself with care.

Eyebrow,

I don't have to fix everything.

Side of the eye,

I just have to come home to myself.

Under the eye,

I can begin again.

Under the nose,

I can speak to myself like someone I love.

Chin,

I am exactly where I'm supposed to be.

Collarbone,

I am whole.

Under the arm,

I am a human being doing her best.

Top of the head,

And that is beautiful.

Eyebrow point,

I speak to myself with tenderness.

Side of the eye,

I am becoming my own safe space.

Under the eye,

I choose compassion over criticism.

Under the nose,

I forgive myself for being so hard on me.

Chin,

I forgive myself for holding it all together.

Collarbone,

And I give myself permission to let go.

Under the arm,

Permission to rest.

Top of the head,

Just to feel good in my own skin.

Eyebrow point,

I deserve to be loved,

Especially by me.

Side of the eye,

I am doing the best I can.

Under the eye,

And that is more than enough.

Under the nose,

I am strong,

I am powerful,

I am radiant.

Chin,

And I honour every version of me.

Collarbone,

I am safe to soften.

Under the arm,

I am always worthy of love.

Top of the head,

And I choose to love myself today.

Take a deep breath,

Become aware of how you feel.

Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.

Feel yourself here,

Feel your presence,

Feel your love.

And then check in again on the scale of 0 to 10.

Where is your inner critic now?

And whatever has shifted for you in this moment,

Honour it.

Thank yourself,

And whatever remains,

Meet it with kindness.

And now,

I invite you for today's self-love ritual.

I invite you to write yourself a love letter.

It doesn't have to be long,

It doesn't have to be an hour of doing.

You can start right now.

And if you can,

Use handwriting.

You can let it be raw,

Poetic,

Messy,

Emotional,

Or just however it expresses through you right now.

And you can start,

For example,

With Dear one,

I see you.

I know how hard it's been.

And I know how much you have tried.

Write to yourself the way you long to be spoken to.

And let these words hold you.

This is how you can become your own beloved.

Take your time to do this.

And when you're done,

Read it out loud.

Read it to your body and to your heart,

To your womb.

And let her hear you.

Thank you for being here today.

And I wish you a wonderful ritual.
