Good morning and welcome to your morning soul seed meditation.

This is a series of short meditations that are here for you each morning to plant seeds of inspiration within that will flourish into transformation throughout your day.

Begin by coming into a comfortable cross-legged seat.

You can do this right in your bed or simply roll out of your bed onto the floor.

The seat is called sukhasana,

Easy seat pose.

Allow yourself to settle into this seat and move around in order to create more ease in your body.

If you'd like a suggestion,

You can try bringing your hands on tops of your knees and use the connection here to round your spine,

Slouch a little bit,

Tuck your belly in and draw your chin to your chest.

Exhale all of your air out.

As you inhale,

Keep your hands on your knees and draw your belly forward.

Sit up tall and draw your shoulders back to create a back bend.

Keep moving through these cat cow movements with your breath,

With your body.

Exhale to round and slouch in.

Inhale to get tall and draw forward.

It might even feel good to create circles with your torso forward,

Around and back,

Clockwise and counterclockwise.

Just take a few rounds of deep breaths combined with some releasing movement here and simply observe anything you can about yourself,

Your body and your energy today.

Now bring your hands to rest softly on the tops of your knees with your palms facing up or down or perhaps let them cup together in your lap.

Take one last movement through your eyebrows and jaw as you release through your facial muscles.

Bring your eyelids to close and bring your awareness to your breath.

What can you observe about your breath here?

How does it feel?

How long or short is your breath today?

Now take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale,

Sigh it out loud to release.

Imagine a ball of warm light in the center of your chest.

With your breath,

Allow this ball of warm light to follow up and down your body.

Inhale,

Allow this ball of warm light to rise up,

Moving through your chest,

Up to your throat,

Your face,

To the very crown of your head.

As you exhale,

Allow this ball of warm light to flow down your body,

Past your chest,

Down into your hips and eventually down to your toes.

As you continue to breathe on your own at your own pace,

Allow your ball of warm light to continue with it,

Filling the top half of your body with the light as you inhale and the bottom half as you exhale.

As this light fills up your entire body,

Notice how it feels.

How can you use this warm light in your breath to revitalize certain points in your body?

Can you allow this light to bring life to your body as it rises and falls with your breath?

Simply observe this light as it lands in different pockets of your body and see how those points feel as you keep breathing softly in,

Gently out.

Now let your breath flow easily and naturally as you allow this ball of warm light to float up and out of your chest and imagine it rising to float just above the crown of your head.

Hold this ball of light above your head and imagine it as the sun with its warm light pouring over you,

Encasing your body with this light,

Warmth and energy.

Notice what else you can feel here with this warm sunlight washing over you.

Keep holding this warm and energizing sensation of the sun's light above you and shift your awareness now to what is underneath you.

Begin to imagine now that you are sitting on a large fallen tree.

This tree you sit comfortably on has fallen from a storm.

Feel its energy as you sit upon it.

As if this tree is telling you its story of the storm that caused it to sway,

Listen and feel.

Notice any sensations you can feel as you sit on this large tree.

Perhaps you feel groundedness or strength,

Knowing deep down that though this tree has fallen it is still strong.

Stay here with this tree for a few more breaths.

Bring your awareness back to the warm light of the sun above you.

Feel the light wash over you once more and allow the sun to turn back into the warm ball of light and allow this warm ball of light to sink back into your body.

Let it fill your whole body with light.

Your whole body filled with energizing warmth.

Slowly pull in just a little more air with your next breath.

Sit to your breath and deepen it with each rise and fall in and out through your nose.

Let the image of the large tree and the sun dissipate.

Allow the sensations and messages they held to be enough.

Bring your awareness back to your breath and to the seat that you are in right here.

Gently create some movement.

Extend your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Roll through your wrists and slowly guide your palms to touch.

Press your thumbs into your sternum,

Anjali Mudra.

Hold this mudra and feel as your thumbs connect to your chest the space that holds your heart.

No one looks at a tree that's fallen after a storm and says that it isn't enough.

That it isn't worthy because it couldn't withstand the storm that hit it.

It fell because it was time for it to fall.

It fell and it's still enough as it is because it now has a new and different purpose.

No one expects the tree to get back up and be how it was.

And you too are enough.

Through each fall comes new purpose,

New paths,

New possibilities.

You are enough as you are.

Take a deep breath and fill up.

Exhale,

Sigh it out loud through your mouth and release.

Thank you for sharing your morning with me today.

Have a beautiful rest of your day and I look forward to sitting with you again soon.
