Relax your spine and allow yourself to draw your shoulders away from your ears.
Breathing in for a count of four,
Hold.
Exhaling for a count of six.
Breathing in for a count of four,
Hold.
Exhaling for a count of six.
Breathing in for a count of four,
Hold.
Exhaling for a count of six.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Inhale and exhale.
It's time to just let everything else go.
You may have had a very busy day,
Maybe ruminating on your day,
But now is the time for deeper relaxation to bring yourself into a tranquil state.
Following the breath and releasing.
Just drawing your focus back to the breath.
Breath is boss,
So just focus on having slow inhales and even slower exhales.
When you start to slow down,
This is far more productive than increasing action.
Action,
Although it seems not like much,
But a lot of peace and wisdom are vibrating here.
And if the thoughts start to float up,
That is okay.
You don't need to engage with these thoughts.
If it helps to compartmentalize them,
Future,
Past,
Present,
Or whatever category that suits for you,
Store it away and it'll be a future activity for yourself.
Just drawing your focus back to the breath.
When you bring relaxation into your daily life,
You allow time for peace and quiet,
Which in return brings clarity and more joy into your life.
Just breathing here,
Relaxing the body down.
You can just start to imagine the breath flowing through your nose.
You can imagine any color,
Texture,
And just follow it down into the throat,
Expanding the lungs and exhaling as it flows out your lungs,
Back out your throat,
Out your nose.
Just keep on visualizing the breath coming in and out of your body.
Sometimes the best way to let go of your day is to go through it like a movie from start to finish,
But just clips of a movie,
Not the full detail of each and everything that has happened throughout your day.
You can start off by remembering when you got up and what time was it when you made yourself breakfast.
What did you eat?
Who were the people that you interacted with?
What did you have for lunch?
Did you have a productive day or did you relax and rejuvenate?
Did you have dinner?
Was there any interactions before or after dinner?
Did you brush your teeth?
Are you laying in bed now?
Just remembering all those small little snapshots of your day.
You can now release,
Let go as you settle in for a deeper comfort.
Any last thoughts before drifting off to bed,
Release and let those go as well.
Just show some gratitude and appreciation for your day,
All the interactions and experiences that you've had,
And just allow yourself to feel even deeper relaxation and comfort.
Just let yourself drift so safe and warm and grounded here.
If your eyes are not already closed,
Go ahead and close your eyes and just allow my voice and all the other noises to start to fade away.
You are supported and cared for.
