Good morning my friend,
We are going to learn and practice a simple and beautiful breathwork technique to cultivate relaxation in our body,
Mind and heart.
The breathwork is called Slow Belly Breathing.
This technique is very simple and effective.
We will slowly breathe in into our belly.
We will slowly breathe out,
Relaxing our belly.
Today we will do two rounds of slow belly breathing with 20 cycles each.
We will breathe in slowly into our belly for 6 seconds,
And we will breathe out slowly relaxing our belly for 6 seconds.
Let's begin our morning breathwork meditation.
Relax and breathe.
Slowly stretch your body.
Now in a comfortable seated position,
Spine straight,
Shoulders relaxed,
Rest your palms facing open on your laps,
And close your eyes.
Bring your awareness into your breath,
Embracing the natural rhythm of your in-breath and out-breath.
Now let's begin our first round of slow belly breathing.
Breathing in slowly into your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
Breathing in slowly into your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
18 more cycles.
Now in a comfortable seated position,
Spine straight,
Shoulders relaxed,
Rest your palms facing open on your laps,
And close your eyes.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Final cycle,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now relax and breathe naturally for a few moments.
Let's begin our round 2 now.
Breathing in slowly into your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
Breathing in slowly into your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
18 more cycles.
Now in a comfortable seated position,
Spine straight,
Shoulders relaxed,
Rest your palms facing open on your laps,
And close your eyes.
Breathing in slowly into your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
Breathing out slowly,
Relaxing your belly.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Final cycle,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now relax and breathe naturally.
Maybe you can place your palms gently over your heart,
Feeling that you are breathing to and through your heart,
Embracing the peaceful rhythm of your breath,
Awakening deep sense of relaxation in your heart space,
Feeling your heart and every cell of your being pulsing with relaxation.
Now relax your palms.
Breathing in slow and breathing out.
With a gentle smile and with a sense of gratitude,
Open your eyes to the world around you to fully embrace your beautiful day.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
