So find a comfortable seat or recline.

If sitting isn't comfortable then you just lie down and you don't have to have your feet crossed.

You can have your shin bones down or whatever provides you with a platform for easefulness,

Right?

Whatever allows you to arrive authentically.

If you'd like to take a mudra with your hands and that helps you concentrate,

Do that.

And then close your eyes.

So your eyelids seal,

Providing you with an inward gaze to clear your mind and cultivate more space.

So you do this without expectation.

It is not as if you will snap your fingers and your mind will just clear.

You are slowly tidying up,

Which means really breathing,

Sharpening your focus on sensation and breath in an effort to release over thinking,

Over playing,

Over planning,

Which your mind is very successful at.

So with each breath you have an opportunity to soften and be open.

You delve into sensation and it also takes discipline.

Because certain stories,

Certain thoughts,

They're very inviting.

So with your breath,

With a call to action of how your clothing feels,

Touching your skin,

The nuance of an aftertaste in the mouth or a scent or something you hear,

Those are tools for fine-tuning your frequency and reclaiming your channel.

So there will always be an inner or an outer dialogue and you just stay on the course of the breath and sharpening your aperture for single pointed attention.

And there's no failure,

There's no bad meditators,

You fall off the seat,

You just prop yourself right back,

Align yourself,

Breathe.

Typically right now you fall into your habitual posture,

So see if you can elevate through the center of the chest,

Slide the skull back and have a little slack in the hinge of the jaw.

So this practice reminds you of your divine connection to something bigger.

Each time you sit or you recline with the intention to breathe and be still,

A true moment to update your contract,

Your agreements with yourself and ultimately with all beings.

If you happen to be lying down,

Take your time roll to your right,

Come to seated,

Everyone bring your hands to your heart center in prayer.

You set an intention for the practice,

A mantra,

A motivation,

Even a dedication to yourself or someone you know.

Three rounds of om,

Exhale the breath out,

Inhale.
