Welcome to this Inner Light guided meditation.

The purpose of this practice is to reconnect with your inner light,

Your true self,

So that you can shine a little brighter as the person you truly are.

First,

Allow your body to settle.

Whatever is supporting you is perfect.

However you're resting is perfect.

And just notice if you can make yourself 5 or 10% more comfortable.

Notice if there's any obvious tightness or tension you can release.

Go ahead and do so.

You might soften your face or relax your jaw.

If you haven't already,

You can close your eyes if that's comfortable,

Or just lower your gaze.

Let's start with three deep breaths together.

Breathe in through your nose.

And let it go through your mouth.

Breathe in again through your nose,

Fill up.

And release it from your mouth.

Last one,

Fill up,

Expand your chest,

Your lungs.

And let it go.

Now,

Think of a positive word that described you as a child.

Maybe brave,

Kind,

Creative,

Thoughtful,

Adventurous.

Whatever comes to mind for you is perfect.

And if nothing comes to mind right away,

That's okay.

Can you remember how you felt as a child?

How do you remember being?

Or how did others describe you?

One word is all you need,

And the first one that comes to mind that feels right is perfect.

Now imagine that word as a small glowing light in the center of your chest.

And that light can be any color you like,

Maybe your favorite color as a child.

Just imagine it there,

Small,

Pulsing slightly.

Now just like oxygen fuels fire,

Use your breath to increase the size and intensity of your inner light.

With every breath in,

Your light grows just a little stronger,

A little brighter.

With every inhalation,

The oxygen from your breath fuels your light to pulse a little brighter and take up more space.

Imagine it growing to fill your entire chest.

And to the rest of your abdomen.

With every breath in,

A little brighter,

A little stronger,

Taking up a little more space in your body.

You can imagine it filling up your limbs now,

Down into your legs,

Through your shoulders,

Down into your arms.

Notice if you feel any sensations,

Any bodily sensations.

Imagine your light pulsing larger and brighter to fill up your hands and your feet,

Your fingers and your toes.

And through your neck and your head.

If any thoughts or emotions come up in this process,

That's normal.

Just notice them.

Your glowing light is now filling your entire body with the truth of that word.

The truth of your inner light of who you are.

And as you continue to breathe,

Your light starts to glow on the surface of your skin,

Expanding beyond the limits of you.

With the next few breaths,

You are now a beacon of glowing light,

Illuminating the world around you with the truth of your true self.

With your light,

You also inspire others to find and shine in their own truth.

Notice how you feel.

Take your right hand and place it over your heart.

And place your left hand on top of your right hand.

Take a deeper breath in through your nose.

And sigh it out.

When you're ready,

You may blink your eyes back to open.
