Welcome to this energizing breathwork practice.

For this session,

You're invited to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

We'll be using a three-part breath,

Drawing the breath deep into the belly,

Then up into the chest,

And finally exhaling out the mouth.

Before we begin,

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down,

And if it's comfortable,

Gently close your eyes.

We'll begin with a few slow breaths,

Drawing that breath in through your nose,

And then slowly out the mouth.

Two more,

Just taking a moment to center yourself.

All right,

Let's move into your practice.

Breathe into the belly,

Up into the chest,

And out the mouth.

Let's move a little faster.

In,

Up,

Out.

Belly,

Chest,

Out.

Breathe in,

Up,

Out.

In,

Up,

Out.

And now breathe easy for a moment,

Just noticing that natural flow of your breath.

We'll be moving into a few more rounds,

But if at any point the breath feels too much,

Just release and return to an easy,

Steady rhythm of breath.

Only do what you feel comfortable with.

Only do what feels good in your body.

Ready for the next round?

Breathe in,

Up,

Out.

Belly,

Chest,

Out.

Keep going at your own pace.

Now slow the rhythm of your breath,

Taking a few moments to re-center as you breathe in deep,

Nice and slow,

And a long exhale out the mouth.

Just taking a moment to check back in with your body and your mind.

How are you feeling in this moment?

What emotions are coming up for you?

Is there any tension in your body?

And if the answer is yes,

Can you relax?

Let's take one more deep breath in and a slow breath out.

Last round.

Stay with it as long as you feel comfortable.

Now allow your breath to return to a slow and steady rhythm.

As we come to a close in this practice,

Pause to feel the rhythm of your breath.

As we come to a close in this practice,

Pause to feel the energy flowing through your body.

Like the breath,

Everything in life is temporary,

Rising and falling in its own rhythm.

Now gently place both hands over your heart space.

Feeling that steady rhythm of your heart beating.

Maybe life is a little hard right now.

Maybe there are some difficult challenges you're facing.

But if you can,

Hold space for this moment and show up with a smile,

Just feeling grateful for your body and your breath in this practice.

Know that your breath is always an anchor that you can return to when you need balance and connection.

Thank you for sharing this space with me today.

Feel free to come back to this track anytime you need a boost of energy or a moment of connection.

This quick breathing meditation is very revitalizing and perfect for a busy day. I picked up the cadence a lot better the second time through. What a great way to rev up my morning. Thanks again, Cait! Will be back for this one regularly.
