Welcome to this end-of-year gratitude meditation.

My name is Celine Petrillo and I really would like to thank you for joining me in today's practice.

Before we start let's find a comfortable and quiet space to sit or lie down.

Close your eyes and begin to connect with your breath allowing each inhale and exhale to bring you into the present moment.

Take a moment to ground yourself in the here and now.

Imagine roots extending from your body into the earth anchoring you in this present moment.

Let's begin with a deep breath inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Feel the cleansing breath as you release any tensions or distractions.

As we embark on this journey of reflection and gratitude let's acknowledge the experiences of this past year.

Let your mind wander through the landscape of this year.

Recall the moments of joy,

The challenges faced and the lessons learned.

Acknowledge that each season whether bright or challenging has played a crucial role in your growth.

Let's start by acknowledging the people who entered your life.

Whether they came and stayed or if they left,

Each person has left an imprint on your journey.

Inhale gratitude for the connections that brought joy,

Laughter and growth.

Exhale appreciation for those who for various reasons chose a different path.

Recognize that each connection whether enduring or fleeting has added depth to the canvas of your life.

Now let's turn our attention to the lessons learned.

Inhale deeply welcoming the wisdom gained from both challenges and triumphs and exhale releasing any lingering attachments to the difficulties.

Be grateful for the opportunities to grow,

Adapt and evolve.

Consider the highs and lows experienced throughout this year.

Inhale gratitude for the moments of elation and joy allowing that positive energy to fill your being.

Exhale release any lingering tension from the lows.

Acknowledging the strength and resilience that carried you through.

Embrace the whole spectrum of emotions you've encountered this year.

Inhale appreciating the richness and depth that emotions bring to your human experience.

Exhale letting go of any judgments or resistance to these feelings.

Like the changing colors of the seasons your emotions have painted a rich tapestry of your journey.

Be thankful for the highs that brought you elation and the lows that offered profound lessons.

Now let's take a moment to express gratitude for your own resilience.

Inhale deeply acknowledging the strength within that carried you through all these challenges and exhale releasing any self-doubt or criticism.

You are resilient and each experience has shaped you and that person you are in this present moment.

As you bask in this gratitude envision a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of connections,

Lessons,

Highs,

Lows and a myriad of emotions.

This tapestry represents your unique journey through this past year.

A work of art reflecting the beauty of your existence.

Now let's deepen our connection with the breath.

Inhale deeply imagining a radiant diamond at the center of your being.

Picture its four sides each representing a different aspect of your journey this year.

As we breathe let's incorporate the directions of the compass.

Inhaling from the north envisioning the crisp refreshing energy and exhaling to the east releasing any stagnation or resistance.

Inhale from the south welcoming the warmth and vitality and exhaling to the west letting go of what no longer serves us.

Synchronize this with your breath and count of three.

Exhale from the east to the south from the south to the west and exhale from the west to the harmonious flow of energy as you connect to the elements.

With each breath sense a balance being restored within you aligning yourself with the natural rhythm of the universe.

Feel the energy of new beginnings and the potential for growth and joy in the days to come.

Take in a few more deep breaths relishing in the gratitude for the past year and excitement for the future.

When you're ready gently open your eyes carrying the sense of appreciation and gratitude into the next chapter of your journey.

Thank you for joining me today for this end of year gratitude meditation.

Be ever filled with gratitude and may the coming days bring you abundant blessings and opportunities for growth.

Like the diamond at your core you are resilient and filled with the brilliance of the unique lessons and blessings in your life.

Namaste
