To understand the mind,
One has to face the issue directly.
Know the labels,
Not the verbs about issues,
But issues themselves.
For most people,
The mind is trapped in verbs,
In narratives,
In all kinds of abstractions.
The mind is always translating the issues into some abstractions.
Therefore the mind fails to see the issues,
Meet the issues.
To really meet the issues,
One has to put aside all the labels,
All the judgments,
All the denominations,
Justifications,
All the standards,
All the influences.
So the mind stands alone.
It is only in that aloneness the mind can really meet the issue.
Or else the issue will always be translated,
Interpreted,
As right or wrong,
With all kinds of blaming,
Judging,
Resisting,
And all the rest of it.
The mind is irritated,
Disturbed,
But never sees the issue clearly.
So the mind must remove all the lenses,
All the filters,
And see the issues as they are,
Letting go all the descriptions.
The descriptions are not described.
Our language creates all kinds of layers of abstraction.
But verbs are not a thing.
One has to go beyond verbs to see ourselves,
To see all the issues.
In that scene,
There is freedom.
Freedom from the influences,
From the verbal meanings of the verbs,
The images triggered by the verbs,
Views,
Assumptions.
And only a free mind can really meet the issues,
Meet the challenges.
And the real solution must come from this meeting,
This authentic meeting with the issues.
Else the mind is trapped in its own pattern,
Always find solutions,
Find his conditioning.
The mind doesn't meet the issue.
How can the mind find the solution to it?
So the mind is trapped in the past again and again,
And the issues keep accumulating at this moment,
More and more.
