The world is me.
I am the world.
It is a hard fact,
Isn't it?
The world exists in the perception,
Which is the activities of neurons.
The neural response to everything around us,
Inwardly,
Outwardly.
They all found neural activities.
To meditate is to investigate this world,
Mysterious world,
This very practical world.
To understand deeply the essence of living,
The meaning of living.
To understand the chaos,
The turbulence of the mind.
To understand,
To see clearly the havoc created by the self,
The ego,
And the human being on this world.
There's no system,
No discipline to follow.
The first is always the last.
The last is always the first.
To meditate is to be really serious about inner world.
It doesn't mean that you can't laugh or smile,
But the attitude is very serious about how to live a life properly,
Harmoniously,
Inwardly,
And outwardly.
So,
Meditation is not a method,
Not a tool,
Which can be used by the self to make the self happy,
To bring about some pleasure for the self.
Meditation is a way of life.
Meditation is to investigate,
To explore,
To find out for myself how to live properly,
Now,
At this moment.
Such inquiry will lead one to understand how to live life properly,
Because life is made of numerous now,
Numerous this moment.
If one can't live at this moment,
One can't live life properly.
So,
Meditation is really about to investigate why the mind always move away from the present.
Why the mind is deceived by itself,
Not being able to face this moment.
That very exploration,
That very understanding will transform myself deeply.
When the mind is really at this moment,
Not by some method,
Not force the mind to be present,
But the mind understands itself thoroughly,
Then everything takes place naturally.
As long as one understands how to live life moment by moment,
How to live life properly at this moment,
One won't be confused at all.
As long as the mind moves away from this moment,
The mind is inevitably confused.
