When the mind is trapped in thoughts,
They are past,
Now,
And future.
But when the mind is really free of all these concepts,
There's no time,
Only at present,
This moment.
So,
To understand ourselves is to understand how this life is kidnapped by this endless narrative.
This endless consciousness,
Like a river.
When one sees all of this clearly,
One ineffingly asks such a question.
Is that possible to live life fully at present in this monstrous world where the whole world is based on the past,
Trapped in time?
Is that possible to live life on a new dimension where thoughts are no longer dominating and at the same time,
Life can still handle the issues in the old dimension?
To answer this question is not to find an answer from a book or from anyone else,
But to live life in person,
To see whether it is possible.
If one says it is possible or it is not possible,
One has already stopped the inquiry because the mind has already created a conclusion.
But if one says,
I don't know,
I'm eager to explore and find out,
And then the mind is open to inquire,
To understand,
To observe,
To find out how to live a life fully at this moment,
At the same time,
The mind can still function in the old dimension.
All of this requires a mind that takes actions now.
To break up this continuous consciousness is to really let go of this time.
Can I live life without being restrained by time?
It doesn't mean that I won't be punctual,
But can the mind won't be trapped by time?
When the mind is really curious and enthusiastic about this,
The mind must give full attention to each moment,
To observe the total moment of thoughts.
In that full attention,
The mind is acting,
It's learning,
It's understanding,
It's finding out how to live life fully at present.
Meditation is a very complicated business.
Which requires one to understand every aspect of life in a total way.
The mind that is trapped in thoughts is trapped in all kinds of fragments.
In such a state,
The mind is never total.
With all this totality,
The mind can't really observe.
Unless the mind takes sheer action to really jump out of this endless river of the consciousness.
So the mind stays clear,
Stays fresh,
Innocent.
And in that state,
The mind is observing and learning.
