The Mystical Resurrection And You

I'm Rev.

Cindy Palos,

And I thought I'd do a talk about resurrection and also ascension,

A little of that.

There seems to be a lot of people talking about ascension in a different way than traditionally it might have meant.

If you talk to Christians,

Jesus was resurrected and brought in his body,

I believe it was a light body,

Up to exist in heaven in that form.

Between the time he died and the time he was resurrected,

There was that time period between.

Then there was the ascension,

Where he ascended up to heaven,

As did Mary.

And resurrection has also come to mean many things,

As ascension has as well.

You will hear many people talking about ascension these days as an ascending of the humanity to a new dimension of being in awareness.

There's also the term enlightenment,

Which if you look into it,

Some people say enlightenment is very similar to what is being talked about now with ascension.

It gets into a mind game,

And it also gets into what people feel comfortable with in New Age terms and what they formed in groups.

Because,

Gosh,

Dare I say that there's some marketing involved in this?

What appeals to people is what people search out,

And what they search out is what they develop.

It's not that they don't believe it,

It's just that it's easier if you come upon a term that is more acceptable to everyone.

Let's start with some affirmations about resurrection.

It might give you the feeling of a mystical view of what resurrection is,

When you can resurrect yourself from worldly concerns.

I'm going to use my stepfather,

And also teacher,

Mentor,

And friend,

Dr.

Paul Masters' Spiritual Mind Power Affirmations book.

I'm going to use some of these affirmations to go into the idea of resurrection.

Life events.

I realize that every physical event in the life of Jesus symbolizes an event of Christ consciousness within me,

Including resurrection.

Here we're tying in the mystical idea of achieving that Christed consciousness.

Christ consciousness is a very high state of consciousness.

It's where you can achieve that light of enlightenment and stay in that place and live in that place as well,

Which is not an easy thing to do,

Although it was done by Christ.

Some other great masters and teachers as well who achieved enlightenment.

Mortal consciousness.

I understand that mortal consciousness is that which is personal under the illusions and limitations of outer sense impressions from the physical world.

Now we're defining the consciousness because we just talked about the Christ consciousness being a very high state of consciousness,

Where the mortal consciousness is that which is the personal.

Since it is under the personal,

There is the egoic and the illusionary things that come in in mortal consciousness.

Christ consciousness.

I understand that Christ consciousness is that part of my mind that is an eternal state of oneness with God's consciousness in the innermost center of my mental beingness.

Now let's just imagine and take a moment to ponder being one with God.

Now we know through the mystical practices that if you can go within and you can connect to your higher consciousness,

That that seed,

That part of your atomic DNA is there,

Is part of God.

In the mystical way of thinking that is able to connect you to that God state of mind,

That Christ consciousness.

And here comes resurrection again.

I understand that resurrection,

As it affects me,

Is rising above my mind's mortal consciousness with its illusions and its limitations to Christ consciousness,

Which can contact God's realities and unlimited resources.

Doesn't that sound nice?

Right?

I mean,

Why wouldn't you want to be resurrected with that?

Resurrection in this sense is pretty far from what we might have thought in traditional Christianity,

Which talks about Jesus's resurrection.

But we're talking about your resurrection.

When you go inside and you leave behind your ego and your mortal consciousness and your illusions,

And you achieve that place of light within,

Which is the Christ consciousness,

Which can connect to God's realities and unlimited resources.

Now here's the symbolism again in Christ risen.

Every day I declare that Christ consciousness is risen in me,

Raising me to awareness through which I am able to see clearly in my mind and spirit exactly what I should do with conditions and circumstances in my physical life.

Now I've often talked about the objective observer,

Which is very similar to this.

It's a little closer to your soul connection.

This is taking it to the higher level of your Christ consciousness and being able to see the bigger picture from that point of view to what you're doing in your life,

Which gives you an amazing perspective.

It's a good thing.

Mediation.

Through my daily practice of meditation,

I establish.

.

.

I think that's supposed to be meditation.

I'm sorry.

That happens so often where you see people using the term mediation instead of meditation.

It's just one T.

In a way,

It is a mediation.

Through my daily practice of meditation,

I establish and maintain,

Connect with the presence of Christ consciousness within my mind.

Well,

Why wouldn't we want to connect with that light of Christ consciousness for their mind?

You know what happens?

We think we're not worthy.

We think it's not possible.

We put limitations on who we are because people always are doing this.

If we start to step out from what we know we are,

Sometimes it's not accepted or even politically correct or popular to say that you are daily connecting with the presence of Christ consciousness,

Right?

But why not?

Why wouldn't you want to connect with Christ consciousness within your mind?

If there's anything there that's saying that it's not possible,

Maybe you need to explore in meditation why that would be.

Visualization.

I daily take a few moments to visualize or imagine the entire interior of my body filled with Christ light consciousness.

Oh,

It's feeling so good to have that.

And the last affirmation here is I am.

I am consciously or unconsciously resurrected from my mortal consciousness to Christ consciousness,

Oneness with God,

Which provides me with the window to the wisdom,

Will,

Positiveness,

Healing,

Hope,

And love to rise in Christ consciousness to what is necessary to outgrow,

Deal with,

And overcome physical life circumstances and conditions.

Now you can see where this would be a very powerful thing.

I mean,

All of these wonderful affirmations put you in touch with that mystic inner light of the highest light.

And this brings that term resurrection to the level where it can be used in your personal life.

It is not the same as what we are told in the Easter services,

And most of the time.

Yet,

Yet Christ used these examples in the Bible.

His life was an example to be followed by us.

Christ brought back to life Lazarus.

The Greek word for resurrection is anastasis.

It literally means raising up,

Standing up,

And it's used frequently in the Christian Greek scriptures to refer to that place of bringing yourself up to the highest point of union with God.

Ascension is the return of Jesus up to heaven after 40 days after his resurrection.

Jesus' ascension was the Mount of Olives near his town of Bethany.

Bethany lies on the eastern side there.

The Mount of Olives.

Jesus' ascension was witnessed by a limited group.

Only his faithful apostles were allowed to see how that happened.

And then we have to take into account that Mary,

Mary Magdalene,

Was outside when the stone was taken away from the resting place in the cave,

And she saw the gardener.

She saw a man who she did not recognize standing there until he called out to her,

And she then became aware that that was the light body formed of Jesus Christ.

And that for her was that moment of recognition,

Right?

That he indeed was there and was present.

Now in the light body form,

This is possible after death.

Not that many people can do it,

To actually form a body and to have it actually be able to be formed also later in front of the disciples where they actually could see and feel him,

Right?

Even touch him.

Now that didn't last long.

That was just for a short period of time where he could do that before he left the physical plane.

But this is possible,

And it doesn't happen too often.

But it's a manifestation of coming here into this physical plane,

Which he could do.

Now can we do that?

Most of us can't.

Most of us can't actually have the ability to form a body that can be touched after we leave our physical body behind.

But we certainly can do it in the light body,

And we certainly have lots of people coming and visiting their loved ones and people they know in spirit after they have passed on.

And this is happening through the bridge that is built between our physical,

Higher self,

Our soul,

And the ability in our soul to bridge and be aware of what's going on,

On the higher astral planes and beyond.

And this is happening more often.

Now I don't know if I'll get all the way into ascension here because these days people really think that of course that we can ascend.

And yes we can.

I mean,

Isn't this part of what people have been doing for thousands of years with enlightenment?

They have been ascending.

Now the people who work on ascension include it in a different terminology.

Some people think that trying to ascend is actually trying to escape the reason that you have come here,

To what you have to deal with.

And I can understand that.

I can understand that,

You know,

Many people do not like what this world is doing and what's happening.

And many people think this planet will not exist after a while and it's awfully nice to be able to ascend to a higher dimension and exist in that higher fifth dimension.

But then there's the bodhisattva way and that is you came here as Jesus did,

As many,

Many masters and teachers did.

You came here to serve and to help people.

And if you're really doing it to help people and serve people,

Why are you going to leave because you decided to come to help serve?

Now you can certainly still go back into that place of meditation and connect with that highest consciousness and that Christ consciousness and the enlightened state of being.

It's not easy when you're doing a 24-7 thing here on the physical plane because that tends to bring you into that vibration and field to be here to do your work.

But you can through meditation,

You can through meditation connect with that.

Now I'm going to do a meditation and I'm going to share you a meditation that Dr.

Masters did on resurrection.

And I think it's a beautiful meditation that will let you experience that energy of resurrection while you're meditating.

And I really encourage you to keep that inner connection to the highest Christ light there within you to use in your daily living.

It is truly a valuable tool that can change the way you do all of your work.

And that is by setting your intention and taking the time to be able to be in that amazing state of Christ consciousness and the resurrected mind of Christ.

I wish you the most beautiful experience as you listen to this meditation.

I begin now to withdraw myself from the outer world that I may enter into the innermost world within myself.

And so let me listen to the sound of my own breathing for a few moments,

Feeling and sensing every inhalation that enters my body as a breath of peace and every exhalation releasing from my body all that is not peace.

So that moment by moment,

Breath by breath,

Increasingly a state of calm and peace begins to unfold and awaken within me.

So that as I do this now,

My mind and my outer senses turn inward following the flow of the very breath that I breathe into myself.

As the breath enters my nostrils,

Let me feel that it passes through the entire length of my body down to the soles of my feet,

Bringing with it a sense of peace and calm.

And that every exhalation releases from my body all that is not peaceful.

And so I enter now into a calm sense within myself.

And in this increasing calmness,

I come to that place within my own consciousness where I begin to sense and to feel that I am through the power of spirit within me,

Capable of resurrecting from the death of spirit to the life of spirit involving all areas of my life.

So right here,

Right now,

I make the decision that I will allow God's spirit to make all decisions for me.

I make the decision that I will allow God's life to live through me.

I make the decision that I will allow God's will to manifest as my will and authority in each and every moment of my life.

And so therefore,

Let me feel now that I am entering into a process of resurrecting within myself whatever has been in an unmanifest death-like state within me.

So let me feel now that throughout my body,

From the crown of my head down the length of my body to the soles of my feet,

That the very spirit of God and eternal life,

Like a light within each of the millions of cells of my body,

Externally and internally,

Is vibrating with new life,

Re-energizing,

Renewing,

Resurrecting each of the millions of cells of my body,

Inwardly and outwardly,

Inwardly throughout the internal workings of every organ of my body,

Outwardly through my physical appearance,

So that the entirety of my body is in a process,

In a state of resurrection through spirit,

Resurrecting within my body whatever is not functioning perfectly,

Resurrecting the entirety of every nerve,

Cell,

And tissue of my body,

So that my body is in a state of divine vibration,

A divine vibration that is as light,

A body of light,

Vibrating light,

Surrounded by an aura of light that emanates forth,

And I am encapsulated in this light,

And this light is true life,

For it is the life of spirit,

The life and presence of Almighty God,

And I am in the center of this light,

As this light right here,

As the light of true life is resurrecting higher force and life activity throughout my body,

So it is also taking place now throughout all levels of my mind,

From the conscious level,

To the memory level,

To the psychic level,

To the collective level,

To the soul level,

To the universal level,

All levels of my mind are now under the resurrecting influence of pure mind,

Pure spirit,

The spirit that is God,

Is resurrecting all levels of my mind,

Resurrecting my mind's energies to the pure primal energy of God light,

Existing through the entirety of my consciousness now,

Resurrecting all negative thought energies by transforming and sublimating them into light,

Let me think of my mind as a sky of awareness,

And that if there are any darkened energies in my mind now,

They are being sublimated by God's light and resurrecting those levels of my mind into new birth and new divine light,

And that my mind vibrates its beauty and energies now throughout my nervous system,

Throughout the entirety of my body,

As my body now begins to reflect the cleansing and the purity is within my mind possible through the presence and the activity of spirit,

And as my mind is resurrected,

So every thought that is passing through my mind is a resurrected thought,

A resurrected thought coming from the spirit of God within me and through me and about me,

For within God's mind I move live and have my being as God's thoughts move now live and have their being within me,

So that all thought carry within their energy essence,

The energy essence of life,

Of pure spirit,

And so now let me feel that in this state of divine thought,

My very awareness is resurrected to new heights of consciousness,

Sensitivity,

And that I am being resurrected to my own spiritual self-reality,

A self-reality that is aware of its eternal oneness with God and with spirit,

And so right here,

Right now,

I resurrect,

I reconnect with,

In an inner mystical union and fusion of my soul with the divine spirit that is Almighty God,

And in that spirit now I sense and feel a wholeness and a completeness,

A wholeness of mind,

A wholeness of body,

A wholeness of soul,

A wholeness as if I am one with the whole of the universe itself,

My wholeness is one of completeness,

And I begin to sense that nothing needs to be added to me,

Because in God's presence I am all that is,

For I am one with God,

And God is all that is,

And so from my body I reach out in spirit to the stars,

To other galaxies,

To other dimensions,

I reach beyond the confines of time and space,

For I am resurrecting into spirit,

Which is beyond time,

Beyond space,

Beyond limitation,

And so in my wholeness and completeness now,

I with the earth,

With the solar system,

With the galaxy,

With all galaxies,

All stars,

All dimensions,

I am one with all that is,

And I am a participant in the cosmos,

And in spirit I am universal,

I am here,

And yet I am in a star many light years away,

For in spirit I am unlimited,

And I am resurrected to that state of consciousness and awareness,

Where I recognize my wholeness,

And so I am resurrected to a sense and feeling of the infinite,

And my mind and consciousness is as a doorway to the infinite,

And I am resurrected in spirit that I may enter and pass through that door to infinite consciousness,

Infinite awareness,

That I may live and have and be my being here amongst the stars,

Though my feet rest on the planet of the earth,

My consciousness is a companion to the heavens physically and spiritually,

In the physical dimension and in other dimensions,

I am here and yet in my oneness with God spirit,

I am in this moment everywhere present,

And as I sense this,

As I feel this,

A sense of eternity is resurrected within me,

And I begin to sense and to feel that there never was a time when I was not,

That there never will be a time when I am not,

For I live in God's spirit,

And God's spirit is eternal,

And I am one with God's spirit,

Resurrected into eternal awareness right here,

Now,

And in that eternal awareness,

I am part of the eternal mind and knowingness that is God's spirit,

God's spirit that possesses all of the mysteries of the universe,

All of the knowledge of the universe is a part of me,

And I and so my consciousness,

My mind can draw upon the wisdom of the ages past,

And the wisdom of ages yet to be,

And here within myself,

All of this wisdom becomes individualized in my soul,

So individualized that I am open and receptive and able to receive divine guidance as to my life and how I am living it,

For here within myself,

I am open and resurrecting my ability to have extrasensory perception,

To be able to sense and to feel and to know beyond my intellect,

For I am one with God's spirit that is beyond my intellect,

And so the entirety of my beingness is as a sensitive instrument,

Open and sensitive to extrasensory perception coming from God's spirit alone,

And through God's spirit,

I am able to sense,

To feel,

To tune into that which I need to know to fulfill the purpose of my soul.

In my state of inner extrasensory perception now,

I am open within my mind to see and to view the beauties of the kingdom of God's heaven and presence within myself.

I am resurrected in my capacity to be able to see and view the kingdom of God's beauty and splendor within myself,

To view divine mysteries,

To be able to see and catch glimpses of my own soul's eternal oneness with God's spirit,

And so throughout my beingness,

There is now a resurrection of God's will for my life,

And my personal will dissolves before the majesty of God's will working in,

Through,

And as God's will is resurrected within me.

So throughout my consciousness,

Throughout my mind,

I am increasingly aware of my soul's purpose for this lifetime,

What I am supposed to do,

How I am supposed to do it,

And I have this awareness open to me,

And that it enters into my mind on a daily basis,

Consciously or unconsciously,

My soul's purpose for this lifetime is directed by God's will,

Which is resurrected,

And so let me feel that from the soles of my feet,

Moving upward,

There is a force,

A power,

An energy that is climbing and ascending upward,

And I am part of that ascent,

Part of the inner ascent of pure mind,

Pure consciousness,

Ascending within me,

Leaving behind me all that would be death to spirit,

And bringing me forth into all that is life in spirit,

And I am,

Throughout my body now,

Rising upward through my upper torso,

Through my neck,

Through my head,

Out through the top of my head,

Into the infinite consciousness of eternal life and infinite life,

And I am resurrected in spirit,

Through God's spirit,

Right here,

Right now,

For this resurrection,

Throughout the entirety of my beingness,

I give thanks,

For I realize that it is God's love for me,

God's creation that allows me to be resurrected from the death of spirit to the fullness and wholeness and completeness and vibrancy and energy,

Eternal,

Infinite God spirit,

For God's love that encircles me and unfolds from within me,

Giving me new life,

Providing me with resurrection,

I give thanks,

I let God be so throughout me as God's spirit is within me,

And so it is in resurrection,

Amen.
