In this meditation, I guide you into breathing into the heart space, feeling its vibration, and planting an affirmation to hold the heart. This is a safe space for you to connect to the feeling of the heart and align with its frequency. You can expect to feel more centered, open, and in trust.

Hi and welcome to this space of holding your heart.

As we enter into this practice I invite you just to find a space where you are comfortable and just take a few moments to fully arrive here,

Perhaps signaling to yourself that you are safe to be in this present moment and if it feels okay for you just closing down the eyes and allowing that gaze to go inward.

Before we begin the practice I invite you just to take a moment to notice your posture.

We're really going to be connecting to the energy of the heart space today and we can often tell a lot about the energy in this space by becoming aware of our shoulders,

Maybe noticing if they're leaning forward,

If you're slightly collapsed in the lower back and you've got this kind of hunched over position.

Our body often comes to this place when our heart is maybe hurting,

Needs protecting,

Acting as a kind of shield and if you are noticing this within your posture that is okay.

Perhaps taking a moment to ask your body if this is where it needs to be right now or maybe seeing if it feels okay just to start to draw the shoulders back and notice how the heart starts to shine forward when you do so.

Just seeing how that feels to create a more open energy in this space.

It's okay if it doesn't feel good to do this and then if it still feels okay to continue maybe bringing the hands onto the heart space just so you can connect deeper into this energy,

Noticing how the heart space rises with each inhale and falls with every exhale.

Just becoming aware of what is on your heart in this moment.

We're going to be drawing some breaths deeper into this space and the way that it's going to flow is that we're going to take an inhale in and then we're going to pause at the top and we're going to really feel this tingling vibration that enters into the heart when we do this practice.

This can bring up some energy,

Some emotion,

Some sensation so just being really present with yourself in this moment and knowing that you in this space are holding your heart.

It is safe for your heart to express in this moment and so releasing the exhale whenever you're ready and together we're going to draw in an inhale,

Pause at the top of the breath and exhale.

Draw an inhale in,

Pause,

Feel the tingling sensations of the heart,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Pausing at the top,

Exhaling.

I'm going to give you a few moments here just to continue this practice on your own,

Maybe lengthening the pause if it feels good for you or taking it shorter.

Just staying present with what arises in the heart space in the full knowing that it is held here.

Just taking a couple more breaths and on your next exhale just allowing the breath to go back to its natural rhythm,

Keeping the hands on the heart if it feels good for them to be here or just dropping them down to the lap if they need a rest.

Just spending a couple of moments here listening to the echoes of the heart.

Maybe you notice that there's something that your heart needs to hear in this moment and so rather than giving general affirmations to send into the heart space,

I invite you here just to spend a moment affirming to your heart what it needs to hear.

And that can be a single affirmation,

I am safe,

Or it can be many affirmations,

Whatever resonates with your heart space in this moment.

And then when you're ready maybe bringing your hands back to the heart space if you'd put them down,

Inviting you to send another deep inhale into the heart,

Maybe this time seeing if your shoulders can go back even further,

You can open up that space.

Then as you exhale open mouth,

Let it go.

Two more like this,

Deep breath in,

Feel your heart with air,

With prana,

Open mouth,

Exhale,

Release,

Sigh it out.

One more breath,

Inhale in,

Feel the heart,

Feel the energy in this space,

Open mouth,

Exhale,

Release.

Reminding yourself that you are always holding your heart,

Even in the times that you might feel disconnected from this space,

You always have this power within you to truly,

Truly hold what's there.

And just know this practice is available to you whenever you need it.

Stay here as long as you feel called to.

Thank you so much for joining me in this space today.

Emma this was a really great meditation. Thanks for sharing with the community. As of late I notice that I need to have more patience, and flexibility when things don’t go as planned. This session was right on time.

I am beginning to understand that my heart has the capacity to hold far more than I thought. Thank you for helping affirm that with this beautiful meditation.
