Limiting Beliefs - something we all have but, how do we get rid of them when they are working against us? Limiting beliefs are thought patterns that stop us from things like being authentic, moving forward, living freely, or doing what we truly love. When we are ready to break free of these patterns, meditation is one of the best and easiest ways to practice letting go. This meditation is about releasing limiting beliefs.

We all have them.

When you have discovered what they are and are ready to release them from your energy and finally move past them so you can break free of the old patterns and step into a new version of you with confidence,

Then this meditation will help you.

So when you're ready,

I want you to get comfortable in whatever position suits you,

Whether you are lying down or sitting up in a chair.

You know you best,

So whatever position you feel you need right now is the right one.

If you need a moment to get set up,

Feel free to push pause and come back when you're all set.

Now let's get started.

I want you to take a deep breath in,

All the way in and as you exhale,

Just imagine all the tension in your body letting go and disappearing.

With each exhale,

You are going to continue to relax your body more and more until you feel a deep sense of relaxation throughout your whole body.

I'm going to walk you through all the parts of your body and help you fully relax.

I want you to take another deep breath in and on the next exhale,

Imagine all the little frown lines in your forehead letting go and just beginning to relax.

As you relax your forehead,

Feel that relaxation going down into the rest of your facial muscles,

Allowing all your facial muscles to just start to relax.

Going down now further into your jaw,

Feeling the tension in your jaw release.

Maybe you even feel your mouth open slightly,

Allowing all the tension in your jaw to completely let go.

Working your way down now,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Past your elbows,

Into your hands and allowing all the tension in each and every finger.

Just begin to relax.

Working your way now down over the upper chest area,

Paying attention to the rise and fall of your chest with each breath.

Going down past your stomach,

Feeling the energy split at your hips,

Allowing it to flow easily and smoothly down each leg,

Releasing all the tension as the energy passes through your knees,

Down past your shins and your calves,

Moving slowly down through your ankles.

And taking over and relaxing each foot completely,

Allowing them to fall naturally to the side.

I want you to only think of your breath now,

Paying attention to each inhale and exhale.

I don't want you to change anything about your breath.

It is perfect just the way it is.

We are only drawing awareness to it.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing a beam of your favorite color light down into your body and as you exhale,

All the energy that is no longer serving you is being let go and released.

I'm going to leave you for a moment and let you continue just the awareness of each breath,

Breathing in all the beautiful light that is cleansing your body.

Perfect.

I want you to bring into your mind a limiting belief that is holding you back.

It could be anything that is stopping you from moving forward in any area of your life.

Whether it is self-worth,

Whether it is financial or about your business,

Any belief that is stopping you from moving forward.

I want you to picture that belief now and picture being caught in the perfect little bubble.

Think of all the memories that have been tied to that belief,

All of the events and times that you were held back because of this belief.

And I want you to imagine them being caught up in their own little bubble as well.

Each memory being placed inside of the bubble and watching all of the bubbles gently floating up,

Up,

Up into the air,

Getting further and further away from you.

As they get further and further away,

Imagine your body feeling lighter and freer.

This may take some time if that memory or belief carries a lot of weight but don't worry,

The strength of the bubble can carry it away.

As you watch all of these memories floating away with your belief,

Remember to feel your body as it is getting lighter and lighter,

Feeling more free and more free and further away this belief gets from you.

Feel the appreciation for this belief and these memories as they have helped shape you and mold you into the amazing person you are today.

Thank them for all of the love and protection they have provided you up to this point and hear yourself saying the words,

Thank you and I release you.

Thank you and I release you now.

Imagine yourself saying these words with each new bubble that is rising getting further and further away from you.

It is okay if this belief is coming up more than once in one more than one area of your life.

Allow it to be surrounded by a new bubble and remember,

Although this belief is coming up several times,

Each time it is getting lighter and lighter and you are getting more and more detached from it.

The emotional hold that it once had on you is no longer there and you can feel that with each inhale you are able to breathe deeper and feel lighter and are realizing this belief is no longer holding you back.

You can now start to see all of the amazing dreams and the amazing things that you are going to have,

That you are going to do and that are going to enter your life now that you are free from this belief.

I want you to spend a couple of moments now picturing all the amazing things that you can do,

That you are about to create now that you are no longer being held back.

Now you are light and free from this belief.

Now you are free from this belief.

Now you are free from this belief.

Now you are free from this belief.

With your next inhale I want you to take notice of all of the amazing things that you are going to do.

I want you to take notice of how amazing your body feels,

How light and free you are,

How you have been filled with so much love,

Joy and excitement.

Feel into any other emotion,

Any other feelings that are coming up for you right now.

Take a deep breath in and notice how each of these feelings has completely taken over,

How light and free you feel,

How excited and giddy your body feels at the potential of all that is to come.

Picture your life now as you are reaching your goals and living your truest desires,

Filling in all the details that your mind wants you to see.

Feel how amazing you feel right now and know that at any moment,

At any given time,

You can come back to this feeling.

Remember this moment where you are free of the beliefs that are holding you back and let your whole body be swept away by the love and the joy and the excitement that this life has to offer,

That is yours,

That you deserve.

Feeling into that joy now,

Feeling into that love.

And when you are ready,

I want you to slowly start coming back into your body,

Back into the room,

Bringing your awareness into your body,

Where you are,

How your body feels,

How light and free you are now.

Bring your awareness into your fingers and toes as you slowly wiggle them,

Coming back into the room.

Whenever you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Maybe have a good stretch,

Take a moment to just be with yourself,

Relish in the feeling that has overcome your body.

And if you feel so cold,

Now may be a good time for you to journal some of the details you saw during this meditation,

Details about the emotions and feelings that came in during your visualizations.

And I want to thank you for meditating with me and feel free to come back and do this meditation whenever you are feeling like you are holding yourself back,

Even if you aren't quite sure why.

Your subconscious mind will bring into your awareness exactly what it needs to when you relax during this meditation.
