Welcome,
My name is Corrie.
Let's meditate together.
Bring yourself into a comfortable seated position.
Straighten your spine.
Relax your chin down towards your chest slightly.
Open your gaze towards something in front of you.
Or close your eyes completely.
When everything feels comfortable,
Pull your attention inside.
As I like to tell my husband whenever I sit down to meditate,
I'm going inside.
It's time to go inside.
Pull away from the rest of the world around you.
Bring in your focus and attention onto the different sensations in your body.
The way your sit bones feel on the ground or on the pillow.
Notice if you have any aches or pains in your body.
And spend a few moments pulling your breath down into those areas.
As if your breath is medicine and you're bringing that into your body.
Your breath is soothing those parts of your body that need the extra love and attention in this moment.
Allow this practice,
This simple focus of awareness of your body,
The physical feelings,
The sensations to pull you away from your normal everyday thinking.
So the thoughts that you might have in your mind of the rest of your world,
Your life,
Your work,
Your children,
Your family,
Whatever.
Don't think about those things for some time.
Put them on pause.
Allow your mind to just think about your body,
Your space,
Your physical human vessel.
Just to be with it and sit with it and let everything else around you go.
The rest of the world and your life can wait.
This is your time to meditate.
Stay present in your body and keep your thoughts and your mind focused on the feelings.
Just breathe.
Once you feel like everything has slowed down and settled into place,
You've found a rhythm with your breath.
You're comfortable.
Let's use this time together to become more uplifted,
To create nicer,
Happier vibes in our day and our body.
To sit for a moment and see the good that we have in our world and the good that we are.
It's easy sometimes to get pulled into stress and darkness and everything else that's going on around you or the heaviness that could be happening in your world,
In your life.
I think when we get into that space,
It's very easy to get down on ourselves.
Before you know it,
It's like a negative spiral.
So with the intention of this meditation to bring us up,
Back into the light,
Let's say some positive statements.
Reaffirm our value,
Our good in this world.
Make sure that your shoulders are nice and relaxed and your spine is straight.
And then say out loud or to yourself internally,
I am good enough.
Say it like you mean it,
I am good enough.
I am worthy.
I am respected.
I am heard.
I am seen.
I am loved.
I am appreciated.
I am needed.
I am wanted.
I am admired.
I am blessed.
I am honored.
I am grateful.
I am happy.
I am very lucky.
I am a light in this world.
I am a beacon in times of darkness.
I am a source of entertainment.
I am encouraging.
I am supportive.
I am authentic.
I am individual.
I am very interesting.
I am beautiful.
I am full of energy.
I am so healthy and strong.
My world is full of abundance.
I see beauty in all things.
My mind is sharp and clear.
I am connected to source at all times.
I have so much love in my heart to give.
I am a fair and generous person.
I am protective and fierce when needed.
I am gentle and caring and compassionate.
I am an aspect of light.
Christ light.
Source.
God.
I am just like you.
You are just like me.
My journey is forever changing.
Energy is good.
I am open to growing and learning.
I am ok with being wrong sometimes.
I choose to see the world as a beautiful place.
I know that everything happens for a reason.
I see everything that comes to me as an opportunity.
A gift to learn and grow.
I trust my intuition.
I know I am protected at all times.
I love all aspects of myself,
Including my shadows.
I know I do my best every day.
I do make this world a better place.
I am all that is.
And so it is.
I hope you feel good.
I hope you see you're good.
I hope you see your light and acknowledge the awesomeness that you are.
Have a wonderful day my friend.
Namaste.
