Hello,

My name is Kari.

This meditation is all about tuning into your intuition by using body awareness.

So if you would like to get more in touch with your intuition,

If you'd like to be able to hear,

Sense or feel your intuition stronger,

Then do this exercise with me today.

Come to a comfortable seated position.

Straighten your spine.

Relax your shoulders.

Check that your face isn't tense,

So relax the muscles in your face,

Especially your jaw and start to slow down your breathing.

Pull your awareness onto your breathing so that everything else around you starts to fade into the background.

Any noises,

Any movements in your body,

Try and let them fade away so you're not paying attention to the rise and fall of your breath.

You're not paying attention to the outside noises around you.

You're just basically breathing nice,

Slow,

Deep breaths.

Allow your body to start to feel calm,

More quiet.

So if we're going from a perspective of body awareness,

Being able to feel,

Physically feel when your intuition is talking to you,

One of the easiest things to do is to start to tune into your stomach.

There's a part of your abdomen that's known to many spiritual teachings as the body brain.

It's the center of your being.

The feeling actually feels lower than your solar plexus.

It feels more like it's really directly under your navel.

When you tune into that space,

If you have a question that requires a yes or a no,

Your abdomen will show you a clear yes or a clear no.

These are the things that you need to look out for.

We're going to do this exercise together in a few minutes,

But for now,

To get a yes when you ask a question,

Then your abdomen will feel very open,

Very relaxed.

You might even sense that your body leans forward as if it's leaning into it.

If on the other hand it's something negative and it's a no,

Your body,

Your abdomen will contract.

It pulls in towards your spine.

It pulls away as if it's trying to get away from a situation.

It pulls back.

It'll feel tight and heavy and constricted.

So let's do an exercise together so you get a sense of what I'm talking about.

Start to think about something very positive,

Something very loving,

Something that makes you smile in your life.

Bring it to your memory and watch what your tummy does.

Think about something that makes you happy,

That makes you laugh,

That makes you smile,

That feels so,

So good.

Your tummy will start to swell.

It starts to open.

It starts to soften and relax as if it's opening up to the happy sensation,

The happy feeling.

See if you can feel it.

And then if you take a breath or two and just bring yourself back to neutral,

Let go of your happy thoughts,

Let your tummy relax back to a neutral place.

And then go in the opposite direction and think of something negative,

Something awful,

Something that hurt you,

Something that distressed you,

Something that was painful,

A memory,

An event,

Something.

The whole time pay attention to your tummy,

Watch what happens.

Your tummy will contract.

You'll feel as if you want to crunch over slightly,

Tightening,

Restricting,

Contracting.

And then if you take a couple of breaths and bring yourself back to a neutral place,

Let go of the negative thoughts and feelings,

Take a few deep breaths.

Your tummy will relax again.

Using your body awareness,

This is how you can get in touch with your intuition.

If you bring yourself into a meditative state and you sit in a comfortable position and take a couple of nice,

Deep breaths,

Bring yourself down into a relaxed,

Neutral place and ask yourself a question about your life,

But only do it from that neutral place and watch your first initial instinctive reaction that happens in your abdomen.

That's the truth of your intuition.

If it contracts and tightens,

It's a no.

If it expands and opens and feels relaxed,

It's a yes.

I suggest you try doing this exercise daily.

That way you'll start to really get in tune with your body awareness and the sensations in your body.

You'll recognize a yes or a no,

More and more,

Until you get to the point where you're in your daily life,

In your daily active life.

And something will happen and you'll have enough body awareness to instantly notice that your body is contracting,

If it's a negative,

Or opening and expanding,

If it's a positive.

Even in the middle of chaos,

Even in the middle of a busy,

Busy situation,

You'll be able to recognize the sensations in your body instantly and know what your intuition is trying to tell you.

And that is a very cool gift.

Take care until next time.

Namaste,

My friend.
