Welcome to this cleansing meditation.
My name is Kori.
Make sure that you get yourself all comfortable.
You can lay down and completely relax during this meditation or you can use a seated position.
Whichever is best for you.
Sometimes it just feels like we need to cleanse our energy.
Maybe there's a reason,
A person,
An event.
Sometimes we just feel the need to cleanse.
It doesn't really have to do with anything.
You can just feel kind of yucky or heavy or uncomfortable in your body.
For this,
You can do this meditation with me.
Close your eyes.
Let go of everything around you.
Your day,
The evening,
The room that you're sat in.
Just go into the space inside of your mind.
Step into the solitude and the quiet of the darkness there in front of your face.
Take a nice big deep breath in and allow your body to feel comfortable with the space.
Like you're going home after a long day.
Or you're seeing a friendly face for the first time in such a long time.
Allow your body and your energy,
Your mind,
Emotional state to feel just like that.
Just from closing your eyes and stepping into the darkness.
Allow yourself to feel a sense of going home.
You can relax or safe.
Focus on your breathing.
Allow your breath to slow down naturally.
Start to be aware of the calm sensations trickling in with your breath.
Going down into your throat,
Down into your shoulders and your lungs.
And then a sense of release when you breathe out and exhale.
Breathing in some nice peaceful quiet vibrations.
Breathing out any uneasiness or negativity or distress that you can feel in your body.
Because your mind is so powerful,
There's nothing that you really need to cleanse your sense of who you are.
There's nothing that you really need except your mind.
Sometimes it's as easy as setting an intention.
Taking a deep breath and releasing anything that no longer serves you from your body just by breathing out.
Cleansing yourself with your breath and the intention of release and letting go is all it takes.
Sometimes it's nice to have outside factors.
Like incense,
Sage,
White copal,
Pillow santo.
Whatever it is that you like to burn.
Using the ritual of burning to release the negativity from your surroundings and from yourself.
The physical act of doing this can be soothing and pleasurable.
But you can also just do it with your mind.
You can imagine that you're stepping into a ball of smoke.
Smoke created from burning sage all around.
You're safe in the smoke,
But the purpose of it is to just purely cleanse.
Release.
Breathe in a big deep breath.
Breathe in the white cleansing smoke coming from the sage.
Imagine you're breathing it down deep into your lungs.
Deep down into your abdomen.
And as you breathe in the sage,
You can feel it penetrating into yourselves.
Into all the different layers of your being.
Your energy body,
Your emotional body,
Your mental body.
Breathe in the cleansing,
Purifying energy of the sage in your mind.
And this big white ball of smoke that you're in.
And every time you breathe out,
Release.
Breathe in.
Purify.
Breathe out.
Release.
Intensify your actions and your breath by using a mantra with your breath.
Breathe in.
I purify my body.
Say that to yourself in your mind.
I purify my body.
Breathe out.
I release and let go.
Use your mantra to set more of a powerful intention with the action of your breath.
Breathe in.
I purify my body.
Breathe out.
I release and let go.
Breathe in.
I purify my emotional,
My mental,
My physical body.
Breathe out.
I release and let go of what no longer serves me.
Breathe in.
I purify any negativity,
Any energy that no longer serves me.
Breathe out.
I release and let go of negativity.
Breathe in.
I cleanse my mind of thoughts that are stagnant and useless and pointless.
Breathe out.
I let go of any negative thinking.
Breathe in.
I purify my heart.
I cleanse my heart.
Breathe out.
I let go of any sadness or pain or hurt I'm holding in my heart.
Breathe in.
I purify my chakras,
My energy centers.
Breathe out.
I release any energy that's holding me back,
Blocking me,
And keeping me from feeling balanced.
Breathe in.
A feeling of courage,
Bravery,
Confidence.
Breathe out.
I release any fear,
Doubt,
Shame.
Set an intention,
Say a mantra,
With each and every inhale and exhale that comes to you as you sit.
Don't think too much about it.
Allow your intuition to speak with you.
Allow your heart to release.
Breathe in what you need and breathe out what you don't for as long as you need to.
