Meditation is perhaps the most powerful tool there is when it comes to calling forth the peace, love, joy, harmony, abundance, and wholeness that is inherent within each of us. As such, I have been guided to create this The way of Meditation Series. Each ”session” will begin with brief teaching around meditation followed by a meditation sitting. I invite you to join me for a beautiful, healing, soothing and empowering moment of becoming still through meditation. Namaste, Daniel

Blessings and welcome to the way of meditation.

My name is Daniel Roquillo and as always I'm deeply grateful to be joined by you.

That you're honoring me with your presence and that you're honoring me with your participation in a moment of coming back to the nowness in this moment.

A moment of releasing and letting go anything of the world.

Coming back withdrawing from the world and just allowing the peace and the love and the joy and the harmony and the abundance that is inherently within this moment and that is inherently within each and every single one of us to well up always from within us.

Before we move into the meditation I just want to briefly touch on the subject what a privilege it is to meditate because there are times and perhaps you're relating to this but there are times when I have set the intention for myself to meditate every single day.

Now I don't.

There are days when for whatever reasons I'm not able to meditate but that's still my intention but then there are days when I don't feel like meditating and I can hear that voice in my mind saying why do I have to do this?

Why do I have to do this?

Why can't I be like most others who can just you know go watch a movie or whatever?

Why do I have to meditate?

And I kind of feel meditation to be a burden something that I have to do and when that happens whenever and this can be applied to pretty much anything and everything but whenever I feel or whenever we feel like we have to do something a good way to raise our vibration above that having to do something that sort of victim consciousness a good way to raise our vibration above that is to seek to flip it to seek to flip I have to to I get to because let's take meditation.

Meditation is such a beautiful and powerful practice that raises our vibration that sustains our high vibration that expands our consciousness all beautiful tools for us to keep waking up for us to keep allowing for greater and grander expressions of who and what we are to emerge for us to be in increasing peace increasing joy increasing love increasing wholeness increasing harmony increasing abundance all these are beautiful benefits of meditation that I would imagine most of us desire but considering that there are so many individuals thousands and perhaps millions of individuals who would love to have the opportunity to meditate but they can't because of circumstances or because of conditions or whatever they may be in war zones they may have a medical condition that does not allow them to meditate or whatever the case may be they would love to meditate but they can't and so in reference to that we don't have to meditate but we get to meditate it is a privilege for us to sit and be still and be safe and be secure enough that we can have peace that we can have harmony that we can have abundance that we can have wholeness that we can have freedom welling up from within us during a moment of meditation and so if you ever catch yourself thinking that you have to meditate my invitation to you is to flip it to that you get to meditate it is a true privilege having said that let's move into the meditation and so in this moment I invite you to make yourself comfortable I invite you to put a smile on your face letting your body know that all is well giving your body permission to begin to produce and distribute these tonic and healing chemicals I invite you to close your eyes and to gently tap between your eyebrows while keeping your smile tapping that first eye the spiritual eye they may catch that which cannot be caught with our human senses have a little activation of that divine eye and while we tap and while we smile let's set an intention for this meditation and the intentions that I always use are for me to wake up to whom what I am and to forever love for greater and grander expressions of that who know what to emerge and so we can release the tapping I invite us to place our hands in our lap palms facing upward thumb and middle finger touching as a sign of receptivity of being open and available and as we turn our attention toward the breath we want to be aware first of all that the body is fully capable and able of doing the breathing by itself which means that we do not need to make the breathing happen we do not need to force the breathing to happen we do not need to participate in the breathing but we get to observe the breathing as it happens we get to surrender to the breathing as it happens and we also want to be aware that the full breath has four stages to it the in-breath the space between in and out breath the out breath and the space between out and in breath and keeping our attention on all these four stages and through these four stages allows us to sustain our attention on the breath with much more ease and so in this moment taking on the feeling tone that all is well let's move deep deep deep into the stillness and into the silence and should our attention drift away from the breath gently and lovingly let's turn it back to the breath and begin again now Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.

Come back to the breath,

And begin again.
