A simple but powerful tool for managing anxiety and stress. When we are anxious or stressed, it is often because we are living in our heads, worrying about the future or dwelling on the past. By becoming present and focusing on the breath, we can learn to quiet the mind and let go of worry, anxeity and stress. In doing so, we can return to our natural state of peace. Enjoy!

Welcome to your guided meditation.

This is your time to relax and let go.

It's easy to become overwhelmed and anxious in today's modern society.

We can get stuck in thinking patterns that we're unaware of,

Projecting about the possibilities of the future or reliving the past in our minds.

Many of us focus our attention on fear of financial insecurity,

Fear of the future,

And fear of emotional or physical pain and suffering.

But all that's needed to bring peace,

Calm and balance back to you is to place your attention fully on the present moment.

Let's begin.

Gently close your eyes.

Take a slow deep breath in through your nose and then gently let it flow out of your nose.

Notice the breath as it comes in and out of your nostrils and flows and flows into your lung.

Take another gentle deep breath in through your nose and then gently let it out.

By focusing on your breath you can bring awareness to life,

To your being and to your spirit.

The word spirit comes from the latin spiritus meaning breath.

Your breath is sacred and sustains you throughout this life.

Continue breathing through your nose,

Slowly in and slowly out.

Focus your attention on the natural moment of breath.

Notice the moment in between the breath.

By becoming conscious of your breath you can awaken the divine part of you that's eternal.

The part of you that has no desire or longing as it's already complete.

The part of you that sees through the illusion of separateness.

The part of you that is pure love.

While you rest your awareness on your breath start to repeat mentally I am presence,

I am peace,

I am presence,

I am peace,

I am presence,

I am peace.

Continue with this as you breathe.

If you have any thoughts that arise that's perfectly okay.

Just become aware of them,

Accept them and gently let them drift by like clouds passing through the sky and just go back to I am peace,

I am presence,

I am presence.

Continue with this and I'll let you know when it's time.

It's time to slowly bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Take a few moments to reflect on the newfound peace and presence within.

Notice any sensations in your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and stretch if that feels right for you and when you're ready you can open your eyes.

If at any point in the day you find yourself feeling uneasy just simply repeat in your mind or out loud I am peace,

I am peace,

I am presence.

Thank you for listening.

Have a beautiful day.
