Close your eyes and allow your body to become still.
Bring your attention to your breath as it comes into your body and as it leaves your body.
Not manipulating the breath in any way or trying to change it.
Simply being aware of it and of the feelings associated with breathing.
And observing the breath deep down in your belly.
Feeling the abdomen as it expands gently on the in-breath and as it falls back towards your spine on the out-breath.
Being totally here in each moment with each breath.
Not trying to do anything,
Not trying to get any place.
Simply being with your breath.
Giving full care and attention to each in-breath and to each out-breath.
As they follow one another in a never-ending cycle and flow.
From time to time your mind will wander off into thoughts.
And when you notice your attention is no longer here and no longer with your breathing.
Bring your attention back to your breathing.
Using your breath as an anchor to focus your attention.
To bring you back to the present.
On your next in-breath imagine a white light over your head.
A warm healing white light.
Now imagine this healing white light being drawn into you.
Healing as it goes.
Passing through your head.
Healing any concerned or anxious thoughts or emotions.
Passing through your neck.
Healing your voice.
Passing through your chest.
Healing unresolved grief.
White healing light warming your entire body as it travels through you.
Passing through your internal organs.
Healing your gut.
Passing through your hips.
Your thighs.
Passing through your knees.
Healing as it passes.
Passing through your lower legs.
And through your ankles.
And finally resting in your feet.
White healing light gently grounding you.
Now imagine that white light gently holding your entire body.
Bathing your body in healing warm white light.
And now while you're wrapped in warm white and protective light.
I want you to have a conversation with your body.
I may not have always fed you what you needed.
I may not always have treated you with respect.
I may not always have allowed you enough rest.
I may have fed you foods which did not nourish you.
I may not always have cared for you or considered you as I should.
Dearest body from this moment I am committed to caring for you.
I am ready to be in perfect harmony with you.
You are the key to life.
You are nurtured because I nurture you.
I give you the nutrition you need to thrive.
I send unconditional love flowing to you.
You are supported.
You are safe.
You are loved.
All of your needs mind body and spirit are provided for.
Now allow those words to find a place to reside in your body.
So that they can continue to cherish and care for you to protect you at all times.
Gently allow the white light to dissolve within you.
Leaving behind a feeling of warmth and deep love.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel your feet firmly on the ground.
Feel yourself resting on the seat.
Feel your back straight.
Feel your head supported.
Feel your shoulders relaxed.
And your muscles softened.
And feel positive energy coursing through every cell in your body.
Feel vibrant.
Feel healthy.
Feel alive.
And when you're ready,
Bring yourself back into the room and gently open your eyes.
