Welcome to this meditation for anxiety.

Allow yourself to be in a lying down or seated position where you will be alone with this meditation and just focus on your in and your out breath.

Going deep into your belly and noticing how calm and comfortable you're feeling.

Let your thoughts come in and then just allow them to go.

Listening to this meditation and simply relaxing.

The only thing you need to do is breathe and listen.

Listen and breathe.

Focus on your breath as you breathe in and your stomach rises and as you exhale feel your stomach full,

Deep and relaxed.

And as you continue to observe your breath,

As you inhale fresh pure air,

Release all tension as you breathe out.

Feel your body relaxing deeper and deeper and allow your thoughts to simply slow down.

Your limbs softening,

Your mind being calm and if you haven't already done so,

Close your eyes.

Now breathing in deeply and exhaling fully.

Allow yourself to completely relax.

Now I want you to imagine a scene in your mind.

To visualize yourself at a wonderful place.

A place where there is only calm and inner peace.

It can be somewhere you've been before or if you can't think of a stress free place,

Go ahead and create one in your mind.

It can be a fantasy place or a real place.

Just visualize it and imagine it.

All the time breathing and listening.

Listening and breathing.

Allowing that breath deep into your belly and let your stomach rise up with your in breath and fall as you release your out breath.

Now picture yourself in this happy place,

A warm and comforting setting that makes you smile.

Go ahead and simply smile.

In this happy place you can surround yourself with things and activities that you find enjoyable without any stress.

Take a few moments and create this scene.

Visualize this place and see it very clear in your mind.

Now while you're in this comfortable place right now,

Take in a deep breath and as you exhale allow yourself to feel twice as comfortable and twice as calm as you do right now.

Take your second deep breath and as you exhale allow yourself to relax even more and on the third deep breath in and on that exhale realize you're in a place where nothing affects you,

There is no anxiety.

You feel completely safe.

Now store this place in your memory every detail and in the future anytime you find yourself confronted by what used to cause you anxiety,

All you need to do is take three deep breaths and allow yourself to remember and smile and come back to this wonderful anxiety free,

Stress free space.

And in your own time you can simply open your eyes.
