Namaste and a very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dhyansa.

We are meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

What is the most valuable thing that you have?

Ask yourself in this moment,

What is the most valuable thing that you have?

Is it your body?

Is it your mind?

Is it your thoughts?

Is it your beliefs?

Is it your values?

Is it your love?

Is it your spirit?

Is it your family?

Is it your friends?

Is it your money?

What is the most valuable thing that you have?

If you go through this list,

You will see that there is something very essential missing.

The most valuable and that most valuable thing that you have is your awareness.

If you have everything else and you are not having awareness,

You will always remain in misery in life.

If you have nothing but awareness,

There is a possibility of everything else.

This awareness is the most valuable thing that you have.

If you forget everything about spirituality,

If you forget everything about meditation,

If there is one thing that you remember all throughout your life,

One lesson,

One memory,

One single unit of memory that can transform your life,

That can be the seed in which once again a forest of everything can grow is your awareness.

And that is why everything is done in this world to keep you unaware.

Your body is hackable.

See that your body is hackable with whatever is there as food,

With whatever is there as nutrition,

As input.

Your body is hackable.

And that is why you see so many problems or fitness or people being lazy or not being fit at all.

The body is hackable.

The mind is also hackable.

You can be made to think of anything.

It does not matter how strong a mind you are,

Sooner or later you can be made to think of anything as real.

Your beliefs are hackable.

Your emotions are hackable.

Sooner or later,

No matter if you are emotional or you are not emotional,

Your emotions are hackable.

And together with your thoughts,

With your emotions,

Your beliefs are hackable.

It does not matter what you believe in.

You believe in spirituality or science or religion or family or friends or aloneness or sannyasa or anything.

It does not matter what you believe in.

Every belief is hackable.

You can be made to believe anything.

Therefore belief is also not of the highest value.

Your own value systems which are built on thought,

On emotion,

On belief,

This once again is built on the foundation that is something that is hackable.

Your entire life,

Entire structure,

The outside,

What you do in the world and the inner world that you have,

Everything is hackable.

And this is what is happening all throughout our lives.

There are hacks into us not for our own interests.

These are for the vested interests of,

For many reasons,

For many different functionings of this world.

All is trying to hack into you,

Into your outside,

Into your inside.

The only thing that is un-hackable is your awareness.

The only reliable thing that you have is not your body,

Is not your mind,

Is not even your heart,

Is not your thoughts,

Is not your beliefs,

Is not your values.

Nothing that you have learned is reliable.

What is reliable is your awareness.

Awareness that you have in this moment,

Awareness that you have all throughout your life.

So pay attention to your awareness.

Even all what you have,

Your body,

Your mind,

Your beliefs,

Your ideas,

Your values,

Everything that you have,

All is constructed in a way to somehow suppress,

To somehow keep the king,

The awareness in the prison.

Deep down into the basement,

Into the prison,

And on top you are guarded by your thoughts,

You are guarded by your persona,

You are guarded by your beliefs,

You are guarded by whatever you find interesting and meaningful in life.

But your awareness,

The truth,

Is the king is locked in the prison,

Is chained in the prison,

And this has to break free.

For the ultimate freedom,

That king has to come back and be put on the throne so that the kingdom that you are living in,

Which is all upside down,

It once again goes back in order.

As the awareness rises,

Is put back on the throne where it belongs,

Everything,

Your body,

Your mind,

Your thoughts,

Your beliefs,

Your values,

Your emotions,

Your external situations in life,

All immediately they find their place.

They find their right place,

They serve the right things.

They serve the king that is your awareness,

Or the queen if you want to have the female version of that.

Awareness is what they will serve,

And not the other way around,

That your awareness is suppressed,

Is somewhere locked down,

Is chained,

And everything else,

That whole drama is happening in your life,

With goods and bads and miseries and moments of pleasure and so on.

All whatever you are experiencing is because the awareness is not there,

The awareness is locked deep down.

How to unleash this awareness?

Two things you have to do.

The first thing is you have to put all these guards,

All these thoughts,

Ideas,

Everything that is chaining your awareness,

You have to unchain that.

You have to come in contact with a discourse that challenges all your beliefs,

All your ideas,

You have to come in contact with that energy,

With that vibration of tantra which gives you that moment,

That space,

Where everything that you know is challenged,

Not for the sake of challenge,

But for it to be put back in its right place.

And the second thing that you need is the fire into this awareness.

How do you put fire into this awareness?

You have all this latent awareness in you,

But how do you put fire into this awareness?

You put fire in this awareness by coming in contact with fire,

Coming in contact with the energy,

Coming in contact with the light of someone else,

Or you bring so much friction into this awareness,

Awareness rubbing on itself,

Just the way you have two pieces of wood,

You have to rub them very very hard so that there is a splinter of fire and the whole wood catches fire and your awareness rises once again like fire reaches to the sky.

This is the process of meditation,

This is the process of spirituality,

This is the process of discourse in meditation of these sessions.

This is not to just reinforce what you know,

This is to challenge the foundations of all what you have created on top of suppressing your awareness deep down and letting your awareness once again rise,

Be the king of your own life.

On this path of tantra,

On these vibrations and energy of tantra,

We are given different techniques on a daily basis,

We practice these techniques,

Those which are resonant to us,

Those which are relevant to us,

Those where we feel,

Yes,

I am stirred somewhere deep,

Which I was never stirred before,

You keep those practices,

You practice those practices,

You learn more about it,

You go more into depth on those practices and for those which you cannot understand or are unable to relate to it,

Have tried it but not found it tasteful,

Leave them aside.

Don't bother about them,

Don't try to learn too much about them,

They do not mean anything to you.

Let us listen to the technique,

Understand the technique for today and practice this in our silence in our meditation.

Bhairava in Vigyan Bhairavantra says,

By mindful awareness on anything,

Be it an empty space,

A wall or an inspirational person,

Gradually there is absorption into the self.

Let me repeat,

By mindful awareness on anything,

Be it an empty space or a wall or an inspirational person,

Gradually there is absorption into the self.

The focus here is on mindful awareness,

The focus here is to bring your awareness,

To bring the energy of your awareness,

Everything of your awareness to one thing.

It could be anything but it has to be on one thing and here Bhairava gives different variations of this technique that were performed also by different traditions in different ways.

The first thing,

Mindful awareness,

Be it in an empty space.

If you can just sit and see the empty space,

Tune into the empty space,

Immediately you are transformed,

Immediately you are transitioning into,

You are transcending into an awareness of a different kind.

The moment you can become aware of the empty space and keep your awareness there,

Be mindful of this empty space that is all around you.

So that is one variation of that.

The second variation of it is mindful awareness on a wall.

This is an interesting technique that you sit in front of a white wall.

Just face the wall and sit and just look at the wall.

For a few minutes do nothing but simply look at a white wall.

This is a technique which appears crazy but is very effective,

Very powerful.

What happens when you do that,

Slowly your mind which is constantly running,

Which is constantly trying to grasp and objectify things,

When it sees the wall,

When it sees the white wall,

It has nothing to grasp,

It has no object to grasp,

So it slowly starts to lose its power.

And when the mind backs off,

Your awareness rises.

Once again you are transcended into a space of emptiness,

Into a space of awareness.

You can do this at a clear blue sky.

If you have a clear blue sky and you are lying in the grass,

You look up at the sky,

It is the same phenomena,

Same technique that happens.

Or on an inspirational person,

This is for those traditions where in monasteries monks are meditating on their gurus,

On their masters,

On their teachers.

You can choose any person that inspires you in any aspect of your life.

It could be your parents,

It could be your children,

It could be your friends,

It could be anybody.

But if you keep your awareness on something that inspires you,

A person that inspires you,

Even that can become a technique.

And Bhairava says,

Gradually there is absorption into the self.

Once again you are thrown back to yourself and not remaining in your mind,

Not remaining all the time in all the creations,

All the projections of your mind.

The way we are going to do this technique today for us in this group is slightly different,

Same principle,

But we will apply this to the group,

The space of this group,

The space of everyone who is meditating live right now with me and those who are going to listen to this and meditate this in years to come,

They will meditate with this space that is right now here with all of us.

We will meditate by bringing our awareness firstly to the contents of this space.

The contents are,

The forms are you and everyone else who is meditating along me and together the form that we create,

The space that we create will move from that form to the formless,

To the pure emptiness of this space where there is no you,

Where there is no me,

Where there is no one else,

Where there is no world but only empty space.

So tune in,

Bring all your awareness,

All your energy into this space,

Remaining mindful that we are all tuning in into this space.

It is independent of time whether you are watching this and listening to this now or at any given point in time.

With that let us close our eyes and take a posture that is comfortable for you.

With your body relaxed,

With your mind calmed down,

Your breath flowing naturally,

Allowing a sense of centeredness,

A sense of balance.

And your awareness in your inner space,

Paying attention to yourself in this silent space,

You sitting in silence in your own awareness.

Drawing all your energy,

Your attention to your inner space,

To yourself in this moment,

Meditating,

Tuning in to your silence.

Also remaining aware of this space.

As you sit in silence and awareness,

Be aware of others sitting in silence and there they are,

Awareness with you.

Right in this moment.

Hundreds,

Thousands,

Millions of meditators sharing this space of silence,

Of silence,

Of awareness.

In this moment,

This silence,

You,

Me and all the other meditators,

All the other meditators,

Sharing a space of silence and awareness.

All the other meditators sharing this space of silence.

Lightening up space with our awareness.

And shifting awareness to this space.

Away from yourself,

From everyone else.

But simply on this space.

Empty,

Energised.

Space Bright space.

This space that we all share in our silence,

In this awareness.

Right here.

With you.

In you.

All around you.

You.

Don't hold yourself back.

Move in this space,

In this silence,

In this awareness that we all share.

The awareness that is alive in this space.

Leave all effort.

Simply stay silent.

You.

You.

And very gently and slowly,

You may open your eyes.

Remaining connected to the awareness,

To the space,

To the silence.

Always keeping this fire,

This light of awareness with you,

In you,

No matter where you go,

What you do.

Today when I was meditating on the space in which I and all the other meditators were sitting, I perceived a flame in each meditator which gradually merged into one and lit up the whole space. Then, in my physical body, I felt a sense of deep warmth in the region of my heart.
