Namaste sannyasa family and everyone.

A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,

Dhyanser.

We're meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

A few contemplations to begin with.

Whatever your name,

Whatever is your name,

Jonathan,

Patricia,

Tina,

Kate,

Lina,

Andrea,

Ale,

Whatever is your name,

Imagine if you were to choose a new name for yourself.

What would that name be?

Why would that name be?

This name that is given to you,

It is not chosen by you.

It is given to you.

So if you were to choose a name,

What would that name be?

Why would that name be?

Will that change something about your life if you change your name?

Will that unburden something in your life if you change your name?

Will that augment something in your life if you change your name?

Contemplate about it.

Then the next contemplation.

What if you forgot your name for a day?

What if whatever your name is for a day while going through your daily activities,

Nothing reminds you of your name and a day becomes a week,

A week becomes a month,

You completely forget your name.

How would you be if you completely forgot your name?

Third contemplation.

What if you were not given a name at all when you were born,

When you came into this world?

You were not given any name at all,

Whatever your name is,

If that was not given to you,

What would have been the experience of your life?

And the fourth contemplation.

What if none of us,

8 billion human beings on this planet,

None of us were given any names when we were born on this planet?

When we were born,

None of us is given this name,

So how would we live with all together?

What would this world look like?

What would be the experience of life if none of us is given any name,

If no human being had any name?

Birds don't have names,

Trees don't have names,

Animals don't have names,

Only human beings have names.

We not only give names to ourselves,

We give names to everyone else as well,

All the birds,

All the animals,

Trees,

Anything that we come across,

We start giving names to that.

There was one burglar,

He was waiting to break into a house,

To rob the house.

He saw that few family members of that house,

They were getting ready to go out in the car,

So he waited outside until all the family members,

They were getting into the car and leaving the house.

He saw that happening,

He found his moment,

So he entered that house.

It was dark,

He had his flashlight,

He had enough time so he was not in a hurry,

He looked everywhere wherever he could find the valuables and take it in his bag,

In his bag where he was collecting all those,

And suddenly he heard a voice,

Jesus is watching you.

He was shocked for a second,

He stopped his flashlight,

He froze for a second,

But then he thought maybe there is some inner voice in him that came,

It was his imagination.

So he moved on,

He looked for other valuables,

He went from one room to the other,

Once again the voice came,

Jesus is watching you.

This time he was even more shocked because he was sure that it was not his imagination,

He kept quiet for a while,

Completely silent,

Frozen until the voice disappeared.

Once again he moved to look for things,

To look for valuables,

The voice again came,

Jesus is watching you.

And this time he was so scared,

He was about to leave in his hurry,

He flashed his torchlight everywhere and he saw a parrot.

He went to the parrot,

He said,

Are you making those noises?

The parrot said,

Yes.

He said,

What is your name?

He asked the parrot,

The parrot said,

My name is Moses.

This burglar said,

Who in the world gives a parrot a name Moses?

The bird said,

The same person who named the dog behind you Jesus.

This is how we human beings give names to everything around us.

But imagine if you had no name,

Imagine a world where nobody had this name.

Why are we doing this contemplation?

To understand the significance of identification,

Of this naming,

This naming that is given to us as soon as we take birth into this world,

This naming that is given to us,

It carries a lot of significance.

It is what fixes us to a certain identity.

The way we have approached naming so far in our life,

This name that is given to us,

It has all its practicalities,

It has all its functionalities,

But the price that we pay on this process of naming is we fix the child,

We fix ourselves to that identity all throughout our life.

That name carries all its burdens,

All its characteristics,

All its attributes.

Those are not your attributes,

Those are the attributes of the name of this identity given to you all throughout your life,

Which you carry all throughout your life.

You evolve in life,

But your name remains the same.

Your characteristics evolve in life,

But your name reminds you,

It fixes you back to that identity.

If someone said in the childhood that Pehta is a naughty boy,

Pehta remains a naughty boy throughout his life.

Even afterwards,

Even he has evolved,

But he would still,

Because he is called as Pehta,

And Pehta is the naughty boy,

He will be always trying to repeat,

Trying to keep,

Hold his identity which was given while he was completely unconscious,

Not knowing how the world is,

Not knowing himself.

So a better way could have been that as you evolve,

As you grow,

As you know about yourself,

As you know who you really are,

The name evolves as well,

That identity evolves as well.

Otherwise the name that is given to you,

It is as good as a roll number,

It is as good as a number,

Because it does not carry any meaning,

It does not carry any significance.

Only if the name as it evolves,

As you evolve,

As you know yourself more,

As you realize your uniqueness,

Your gift,

Your expression,

Which you are into this world,

That unique expression of the same consciousness.

That could be a way to give you the name.

So if you were to give yourself a name,

What would that be?

It just makes you contemplate about your uniqueness.

Think about it,

Contemplate over it.

Even in several spiritual traditions,

This was done in the past,

Like Osho,

The meditation master that we know as Osho,

He himself changed his name several times,

From Chandramoham,

The name that was given to him,

To Acharya Rajneesh,

To Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh,

To Bhagwan and then Osho,

As the roles changed,

As the significance of the work changed,

The name changed.

Every spiritual master has used some form or the other of this process of changing the identities,

Giving the disciples a certain identity so that they could break free from all the past,

From all the past identities,

Or to augment a certain aspect of the disciple.

The disciples were given spiritual names,

Something related to love or something related to silence,

Not just out of nonsense,

Not just out of giving them some new role numbers,

But to attribute the uniqueness that is there in the person,

That the person needs to augment and express more and more in life.

So all these ways,

All these tricks that have been utilized in spiritual traditions to take you out of the identities,

The traps that you're caught in all throughout your life and take this towards your uniqueness,

Your unique expression.

So a world could have been where we would have no names,

Or a world where we would evolve,

Where we would have multiple identities,

Multiple names,

Representing our multiple facets,

Our multiple roles in life,

Or if you would have one identity,

That identity evolves as your evolution happens of your unfoldment of consciousness,

Of your unique expression into life.

Why are we talking about all this once again to remind you of the nameless,

That all these identities,

All these names are belonging to the world,

And as you meditate,

As your consciousness unfolds,

You come to something that is nameless,

That is identity-less,

And unless you play with identity,

Unless you contemplate over your identity,

Unless you shake those roots that have kept you fixed all throughout your life,

Unless you unfold your mind,

Unfold your consciousness,

In that way,

You are not going to reach to the nameless,

You're not going to be able to point towards the nameless,

Towards the identity-less.

So let us take these moments to listen to Bhairava,

The technique in Vigyan Bhairavtantra,

Which Bhairava has given to us,

And meditate over this technique,

Which is related to this process of identification,

Dis-identification,

Naming and moving from names to nameless.

Bhairava says,

Meditate over your name,

Then the nameless,

And enter.

Different ways of doing this technique.

This technique was done in those spiritual traditions,

Where the disciple was given a unique name,

And then the disciple was meditating over that name,

To augment that,

To unfold the attributes of that name,

That is given as a unique expression to that person,

To that meditator.

But here,

What we could do is,

Meditate over your name,

Whatever your name is,

You meditate over your name,

And attribute all your identifications to that name.

It is not only an imagination,

Not only a visualization,

It is in fact the case that all your attributes,

Whosoever you think you are,

It all can be attributed to your name.

If you do that,

What happens is,

You can create a certain distance from that name,

And you can move from the name to the nameless.

You meditate over this name first,

This identity,

Put it at a distance,

And move to the nameless,

To the nameless,

The identity-less that we all are.

Let us move into this meditation,

Into the silence,

And contemplate over this process of meditating over the name,

Over the nameless,

And entering into the silence,

Into the awareness.

Please close your eyes,

And take a posture that is comfortable for you.

Allowing your body to find a restful posture,

Your body to settle,

Your breath to settle,

And your awareness to turn inwards.

Rest.

Thususingpackagedspiritual millennialism as nameless.

Bringing your awareness on your name.

If need be,

Mentally repeating your name and observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you mentally repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Simply observe as you repeat your name like a mantra,

Churning your consciousness,

Allowing things to rise from your subconscious into your conscious as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Observe from a distance the name and whatever arises in your consciousness along with that name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Don't judge yourself,

Simply observe whatever arises in your consciousness as you repeat your name.

Nameless,

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

You are all one.

This oneness that we are has no name.

We may call it God.

We may give it different names,

But this oneness has no name.

Remaining aware of this oneness,

Of this nameless,

Very gently and slowly,

You may open your eyes and open your eyes.

Maintaining the awareness,

The silence and taking this awareness and silence in your daily life.

If you have your love to share,

If you have some silence to share,

If you have some truth in you to share,
