This is Dhyans here and you'll be tuning into a unique meditation session recorded live with my meditators in Switzerland,
Where for the first 15 minutes you'll listen to the theme of the session which will bring your mind,
Your heart and your energies together into a meditative state.
Then I'll guide you to go deep in a 30-minute meditation experience.

A very warm welcome to all of you in this Monday evening meditation session with me Dhyansa.
Welcome to 2020.
I hope you had a good break with good food,
With some rest and more importantly some reflection on your own life,
On 2019,
2020,
What you want to have.
These reflections,
They are bounded with time.
They change every year.
You must have noticed that these things are moving along with time.
Whether you like it or not,
Whether you move along or not,
Time moves along.
Now is 2020.
You can't be in 2019.
You have to be in 2020.
And this time,
This movement in time is so much bounded that whatever it brings,
You have to accept.
If it's summer,
You experience summer.
If it's winter,
You experience winter.
If it's good times,
You experience good times.
If it's bad times,
You experience bad times.
These are the reflections when you really deeply look at time and how you move along with time.
And also things like,
You must have noticed as you grow older,
Time also goes faster.
How fast 2019 went away.
2020 maybe it goes even faster than that.
All this is bounded by time.
All your life,
Your experiences,
Whatever your plans,
Your wishes,
Your desires,
Whatever,
Whatever you can think of.
Your existence is bounded by time.
As if you exist only in time.
But is that true?
Is that the full truth that you only exist in time?
Or there is a possibility that you exist also in something timeless?
Because otherwise life would be so boring.
Just a repetition every time,
The same things,
The same wishes,
The same routines.
Maybe a child is more excited,
But as an adult,
You quickly see that it's just a repetition again and again and again.
And it ends very quickly.
And it starts somewhere and before you realize it,
It ends.
So is there a possibility that you exist also beyond time?
That you exist also in timeless?
Can we explore that?
In this meditation session,
The first session of 2020,
I would like to share with you a way to move into timeless.
Together with you,
I would like to move into timeless in the next minutes.
Let's see if we can move into timeless in the next minutes.
But what's the point?
What is this timeless?
What are we talking about?
See that your body is rooted in time.
You cannot move out of your body.
You cannot move out of your body.
Your body cannot move out of time.
Your body is created in time.
It ends in time at some point of time.
Your mind is arising out of time.
It ends.
It falls back into time.
But there is something more which if you recognize,
If you recognize yourself in,
Then you can taste and experience that timeless.
Meditation is a process into this timeless experience.
It's a process to move from the time to the timeless.
All your life,
You just spend in the time.
Nothing wrong with that.
Great experiences,
Learning experiences,
Good experiences,
Bad experiences.
But take this opportunity,
Take this meditation session and what comes along as a chance to move in timeless.
This is also known as spiritual growth.
What else is spiritual growth?
Is that you uprise,
You uproot,
You rise above time.
Your body remains in time.
Your mind remains in time.
It flows along with time.
Just like when you are on the Autobahn,
You are bounded by hard lines.
You have to go along all the way.
But there are times exit where you can exit.
Meditation is that kind of an exit,
Exit out of time into timeless,
Where you rise above time.
How do you do that?
The first thing that has to be done is that your body is still.
There was a man,
He was working a night shift.
He had worked very hard all night long.
And he was very sleepy in the morning after his shift.
At six o'clock he finished.
So while walking towards home,
He came across a park.
So he was passing by a park.
And then he was so tired,
He just wanted to sleep.
So he decided that let me take some rest here.
And then I will go later to my home.
So he sat down,
He closed his eyes,
Trying to fall asleep.
In a few minutes there were joggers around.
In the morning in this park there were lots of joggers.
One of them stopped and asked,
What time is it?
The guy was very tired,
But he couldn't be impolite.
So he said,
It's 6.

And then the jogger passed by and the man tried to again move into rest.
A few minutes later,
Another jogger came and asked,
What time is it?
The guy again had to look at his watch,
Tell the time that it's 6.
30.
And the jogger went by and he tried to find his rest,
Tried to find his sleep.
But this happened again and again and again.
Probably he was the only person sitting over there.
He got so annoyed and he got frustrated.
He had to do something about it because he was falling asleep all the time.
So he took his watch out,
Put it in his pocket,
Took a pen and a paper out,
Put that paper in front and wrote,
I don't have a watch.
I don't know what time is it.
A few minutes later someone knocked him and said,
Hey man,
You know what time is it?
It's 6.
30.
Now you can go.
When you are laying,
Sitting in silence in meditation,
Your body like this jogger comes again and again,
Trying to pull you back in time,
Trying to remind you that I am also there,
Trying to move in showing you pain,
Showing you sensations.
If you are too much involved with your body,
You'll never find rest.
So the first thing that has to be done is to find rest with your body,
Is to learn how to sit still.
Maybe some of you are just starting to meditate or some of you are already meditating for a very long time.
Learn how to make your body still in this session.
Take this as a challenge if it's first time and if you already know how to make your body still,
How to sit in silence,
Make sure that you are sitting in silence.
Your body is still.
Your body is at rest.
Whatever posture it is,
If it's sitting cross-legged,
If it's sitting next to the wall,
Whichever posture is fine for you.
There's no rule of putting the hands like this or like that.
All what you need to do is have your body at rest,
At silence.
When your body is at rest,
Then your mind,
We need to work on your mind.
If you see right now in the movement of time,
Your mind is spread all over the place.
It's in the past.
It's in the future.
What you need to do as a second step,
As a second phase,
Is to bring all your mind,
All your energies,
Everything that you can bring in your consciousness in the now,
In the present moment here.
From the entire spread of time,
Wherever you are in the past or in the future,
Bring yourself in the now.
I will guide you through the steps where we'll bring our body,
Our breath,
Our mind,
Our energies,
Everything in the now.
That's a must.
Already,
If you can learn how to bring yourself in the now,
Lots of good things happen already.
Maybe you don't need to go any further.
Maybe the experience of being in the now is so mindful,
Is so vibrant,
Is so aware that you start enjoying that and you say,
Well,
This is it.
More is not needed.
But if you want to go more,
If you want to go further,
If you want to experience timeless awareness,
If you want to move from time to timeless,
This is the doorway.
Now,
The moment of now,
Here and now is the doorway which is taking you from the dimension,
The movement of time to the timeless.
The technique that you do when you reach to the now,
When you have all your awareness,
When your body is settled,
Your mind is settled,
And you're in the now,
Then you apply another technique which is known as the awareness of awareness.
The awareness of awareness.
What I mean by that,
Let's understand this very briefly before we do this together.
When you're aware of your breath,
Your breath is the object and your awareness is trying to see the object.
So you see when you close your eyes with your internal awareness,
You see the breath.
When you bring your awareness to the body,
You see,
Visualize,
You feel the body.
When your awareness is on your thoughts,
You see,
You watch,
Observe your thoughts.
All this time,
Objects are changing,
But your awareness that is subjected to the object remains the same.
All this time,
You're learning to move your awareness from one object to the other,
Bring all these objects to the present moment,
To the moment of now.
But when everything is in the now,
Then you can leave the objects and you can become aware of the awareness itself,
From where you were aware of the objects,
From where you were aware of the breath,
From that place of that thing,
If you become aware of that itself,
If you become aware of awareness itself,
And it is very easy,
It's more easier done than you said,
You will see it in your own experience.
When you become more aware of awareness,
All objects disappear.
In a way,
You leave the dimension of time and slowly the awareness of awareness rises,
It becomes more and more stronger,
More vivid,
And you experience,
You subject yourself to something,
A space which is timeless.
An experience where you can say,
Yes,
I'm that I'm timeless.
Yes,
I recognize myself as timeless.
I exist also as timeless.
I exist as the body.
I exist as the mind.
I exist as all these energies that are intertwined in time.
But I also exist as timeless.
This is a recognition,
This is the moment,
This is the peak of meditation.
If you can recognize that,
Good.
If you cannot recognize that,
It's also fine.
Stay in silence,
Rejoice in silence,
Rejoice in the bliss of the silence,
Because when you apprise yourself above time,
There is inner peace,
There is happiness.
Everything that is worth experiencing is there,
It's eternal,
It's available.
All you have to do is move and apprise yourself above time into your own nature of timeless eternal being.
We will do this step by step together as a guided meditation.
I will try my best to give you impulses,
But still the journey has to be done alone,
All by yourself.
There is no real path to it.
You'll have to find the path within yourself,
How to move from all over the place to now,
And from now to a dimension which is above time,
Which is timeless.
I can only be a silent partner,
A silent guide,
Giving you small impulses to make sure that you're not here and there,
And you are all along the way,
Rising above time for yourself.
I hope you understand what I'm saying,
You recognize where I'm pointing at,
You can feel that what needs to be done,
Where needs to be,
Where you need to be,
And what is it that we are trying to really aim at in this session,
That existence,
That recognition,
That you are also timeless.
I wish that this does not remain as a theory,
But also becomes your experience as we sit in meditation for the next minutes.
With that,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Before we meditate together,
Let me remind you that a comfortable posture is essential for meditation.

It's in your lap or on your thighs,
Whatever is comfortable for you.
Back straight,
Shoulders down,
Head straight,
Face relaxed.
And a gentle smile on your face.
Take a nice deep breath.
Inhale from the nose.
Also exhale from the nose.
Let your body settle with every breath that you take.
For the next minutes,
Allow your body to settle,
To find its comfort,
To find its place.
Can you just let it happen?
Draw your awareness inwards as your body is settling in the moment.
Exhale.
Body becoming stiller with every breath that you take with every exhalation let go of your body bring your awareness to your breath and watch the flow of your breath in and out happening in here and now and with the flow of your breath coming here and now with every breath now and with the flow of your breath coming here and now and with the flow of your breath coming here and now simply remain with the breath and be in this moment and with the flow of your breath coming here and now your breath is here and now stay with it and with the flow of your breath coming here and now and with the flow of your breath coming here and now observe your body very silently your body is also here in the now flowing along with your breath in the now remain in the now as you flow along with your breath your body flows along in the now shift your awareness on your thoughts on your mind and slowly move everything in this moment your breath in this moment your body in this moment your mind in this moment your breath in this moment allow the silence to grow as your breath is in this moment your body in this moment your mind in this moment your breath in this moment your mind in this moment observe your mind and let it settle in the now let it melt in the now let it become silent in the now all your energies in this moment moment in this moment remain silent and aware as the silence grows in you you become aware of awareness awareness of awareness itself awareness of awareness itself awareness of awareness itself awareness of awareness in this silence and this stillness let go of everything else only awareness of awareness let go of everything else stay in this awareness of awareness awareness no more movement silence silence and awareness silence awareness of awareness and lose all effort move in silence for the next minutes in absolute silence deep silence within yourself deep silence deep silence silence stillness and awareness timeless silence silence stay timeless silent aware and very slowly awareness back to the breath back to the body maintaining inner silence and awareness in this present moment be thankful that you are alive be thankful that you are healthy be thankful that you are silent and aware you may stay like this for another few minutes or if you like you may open your eyes if you have your eyes open still remain silent silence silence silence and very gently and slowly you may open your eyes if you have them closed you may move your body stretch your legs as you move back in time try to maintain your awareness in the present moment in every aspect of your life whatever you do remain in the present moment and if you get a chance give yourself these moments of rising above time experiencing your existence as timeless that will give you stability,
