This meditation is a journey into the becoming and unbecoming of womanhood,

A sacred and cyclical process of transformation.

Begin by giving yourself permission to be here now.

Allow whatever it was you were doing prior to this to fall back into the distant past and whatever may be on the to-do list after this time to be floating out into the distant future.

Invite in a slow,

Sweet breath.

Fill up and then let that breath go fully,

Perhaps out through the mouth,

Perhaps with sound or silence.

Settle into a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Gently close your eyes,

Allowing your body to soften and be held.

As you take in another full breath,

Feel the rise and expansion of your chest,

The lower circumference of your ribcage and your belly.

Slowly pause and then exhale,

Releasing any tension you might be holding.

Allow yourself to anchor into this moment,

Releasing all external distractions.

Now,

Imagine yourself standing in a vast,

Open space.

This space is safe,

Limitless,

And free of judgment.

It is here that you can reconnect with every part of yourself,

Every version of you,

Past,

Present,

And future.

Feel yourself breathing into your essence,

Acknowledging your roots in the collective experience of women through time.

There is a lineage here,

A silent,

Invisible connection to women who have come before you,

Who walk beside you,

And who will come after you.

We are each unique in our becoming,

Yet woven together in how we change and grow.

First,

Take a moment to connect with your physical self,

The evolving landscape of your body.

Feel gratitude for the resilience and strength it holds.

This body,

Which changes in response to time and experience,

Is a gift.

Perhaps your body has shifted,

Become softer in places,

Stronger in others.

With every inhale,

Welcome a deep appreciation for the incredible wisdom of these changes,

Each curve,

Each scar,

Each rhythm of your heartbeat.

With each stage of becoming,

There is an unbecoming,

A shedding,

As we step into new forms of ourselves.

Take a moment to sense what parts of your physical self you have released,

What you have transformed.

Each cycle,

Each hormonal shift,

Each new phase has left its imprint,

Its lesson,

Its mark on you.

Now,

Gently bring your awareness to the hormonal currents that have flowed through your life,

Shaping not only your body,

But your emotions and perspective.

From the early days of adolescence to each turn of the cycle,

Each shift has shaped the way you feel,

The way you think,

The way you see the world.

These changes are both subtle and profound,

Undercurrents that flow within.

Take a moment to honor this quiet rhythm,

The powerful hormonal tide that connects you to the essence of womanhood.

Notice any emotions that arise as you reflect on this.

Perhaps there is awe,

Gratitude,

Or even grief.

Each of these emotions is valid and welcome here.

Take a deep breath,

Letting each feeling soften and flow through you.

As we continue,

You might acknowledge or relate to the pressure of what many women carry,

Both physically and metaphorically.

Some carry the literal weight of birthing life.

Others carry dreams,

Creative ideas,

Or visions that yearn to be brought forth into the world.

And there is the magnitude we each carry within ourselves,

Shaped by society's expectations,

By the often unspoken standard placed upon us.

Feel this significance in your body,

Acknowledging where it may live in your heart,

Your womb,

Or your mind.

As you breathe,

I invite you to release what no longer serves you.

Feel the burden dissolving slowly,

Gently,

Like mist lifting in the warmth of morning light.

You are not bound to these weights forever.

With each exhale,

Release the pressures that don't belong to you.

Let them fall away,

Freeing space within you for self-compassion,

For renewed strength.

Bring your awareness now to the inner flame that resides within you,

The core of your womanhood.

The seat of your power.

This flame has always been with you,

Guiding you,

Growing as you grow,

Adapting as you adapt.

Feel its warmth expanding with each breath,

Filling you with the courage of all you have overcome,

The delight of all you are becoming.

This flame is where your resilience,

Your wisdom,

And your truest self reside.

As this meditation draws to a close,

Take a moment to hold all these parts of yourself in tender awareness.

The girl you once were,

The person you are now,

The woman you are yet to be,

Become.

Each phase,

Each layer,

Each transformation is sacred.

Allow yourself to honor this becoming and unbecoming,

Knowing that you are whole and complete at every stage.

Take a final,

Steady cycle of breath in,

Feeling grounded,

Connected,

And in respect of yourself.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying this admiration for your journey and reverence for the wisdom of your heart as you go forth into your day.
