Welcome to this short meditation to connect with your inner world,
To feel safe,
At ease and at peace.
Find a comfortable seat if you haven't done so yet,
Whatever feels good for you in this moment.
Once you've arrived,
Close your eyes gently.
And just take a moment here to notice your breath as it flows in and out through your nose.
And consciously take a moment to really let go of the breath.
Allow the breath to flow in its own natural rhythm,
Calm and steady.
And then slowly,
With your breath,
Draw inside.
Come to move inside your body,
Going down deep to your sit bones at first,
Feeling the connection with the earth or whatever you're sitting on.
And let go just a little more.
It is okay to let yourself sink here.
Let go.
And then from here,
Move up a little bit towards your hip area,
The space around your sacrum,
The base of your spine.
Just feel into this space.
Maybe by bringing your awareness there,
You can feel how this part of your body is getting warm.
Whatever it is you're feeling,
Allow it to be.
Now,
Notice how you can guide your breath into that area even more.
The breath starts at the base of your spine in this area around your hips.
You can widen with each inhale and every exhale you can allow yourself to release more,
Feel how the hips are holding you.
You are carried.
This is your safe space.
You can fully let go.
Continue to feel your breath throughout this area of your body,
Expanding and releasing.
And as you continue to breathe deep down,
Maybe you can visualize beautiful,
Bright orange light growing bigger and bigger in that area.
Feeling the warmth,
The energy and let the breath flow.
Stay here and repeat to yourself.
I am safe.
I am held.
I trust.
I let go.
I am safe.
I am held.
I trust.
I let go.
Continue to sit here feeling at ease.
Letting go more and more.
And whenever you are ready,
You can deepen the breath and slowly find your way back to your day.
Opening your eyes gently when you are ready to come back.
