Thank you for joining me again.
This is the sixth installment of the series,
Your Meditation Journey.
And this piece is about your own spiritual life,
The spirituality that runs through you,
That you experience.
And we're going to meditate on enhancing and empowering your own spiritual life experience,
Your own spiritual life story,
So that you gain inner strength and empowerment and encouragement to live your spiritual life exactly as you wish it to be.
Not by anybody else's standards,
But simply directed by you.
So let's begin.
Take a nice easy breath.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself move into the meditative state.
And another breath.
And again as you exhale,
Feel your body relax,
Sinking in,
Feeling relaxation,
Moving down your body from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.
And come into that stillness,
That mindfulness,
The place that is often called your center.
And one more easy inhale,
And easy exhale.
And then let your breath go.
And from this stillness,
From your center,
Bring to mind the experiences that you've had in your own spiritual life.
The times when you felt the most connected to the universe,
When you felt an overpowering evolutionary moment,
When you may have experienced expanded consciousness at looking at the stars,
Or walking in nature,
The vastness of the ocean,
And of the galaxy.
Think about the spiritual experiences you've had with loved ones,
Where you felt your heart opening up piece by piece,
Step by step,
And expanding love within yourself.
And bring to mind these sorts of spiritual experiences.
And as you look at them,
As you remember them,
As you feel them,
Open up your awareness to observe the themes that run through your spiritual life experiences.
How did you experience these moments,
These events in your life?
What did they bring to you?
How were they shaping of your own identity as a spiritual person?
How do you consider yourself in your own spiritual life as the chief proponent of your spirituality?
And how would you describe to yourself that spirituality?
What are the premises of your spiritual life?
What are your hopes and visions?
What's your intention within your spiritual life?
What is your purpose?
And what are the strategies and steps that you take to keep your spiritual life alive,
Expressing,
Empowered?
How important have you made your spiritual life in your life?
To speak about it,
To share with other people.
How central is it to the way you think of your own self,
Your own life story?
So for a few moments simply sit in this meditative state and your stillness in your center and consider these kinds of questions for your spiritual life.
Maybe it will bring to mind a deep satisfaction that you're living your spiritual life exactly the way that you wish.
And there may be some places within your spiritual life that you feel good about and some that you would like to see improve.
All of it is okay because it's yours.
It's your spiritual life after all.
So simply sit with these questions,
These thoughts and ideas about the experience and the expression of your spirituality.
Now be quiet for a few moments while you do this.
In this practice your spiritual life is yours and yours alone to decide how is it that you're going to live this wonderful and vital part of who you are as a person.
So in your consideration of these questions and your determination in giving meaning to your spiritual life,
Make sure that you hold onto the fact that it's your empowerment as a spiritual being that's most important.
It's your design for yourself of your spirituality,
The way that it fits and works the very best for you.
And you don't have to apologize to anyone.
You don't have to follow anyone's dictates that you don't wish to.
You don't have to believe in anything that doesn't make sense to you.
It's your experience in this practice that you are dedicated to enhancing,
Expanding and empowering.
Hold this empowerment for just one more moment.
This empowerment of your spiritual life,
Your way.
And as you hold it,
Cherish it.
Consider nurturing it,
Loving this part of who you are.
Hold it for one more moment and then let it go.
And we'll come out of the meditation now.
Just remember how important your own direction in your spiritual life is,
That it's in your hands to determine,
Whatever that may be,
However you want to express it and experience it and give it meaning.
It's totally up to you.
We'll come out of our meditation now.
So gently come back into the room that you're sitting in,
Back into your body,
Back into this time.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you again for joining me.
I really appreciate your dedication to your own meditative practice and your own spiritual life.
I believe it's very,
Very important what you're doing and you have my undying support.
Take good care.
Namaste.
