Good morning and welcome to this new day.
I am so glad you're here.
Being aware of your entire presence,
Your body and mind,
As an integrated entity that we cannot fully comprehend,
Yet you can trust to carry you through another day,
Another now in your life.
And now is all that you have.
It's all that you have.
Another day of choice,
Another day of the sensation of the air around you.
And be aware now of the space just beyond the edges of your body.
And become aware of the space within which that space lies.
Yes.
And just allowing yourself to be quite gently relaxing,
Perhaps being grateful for all that you have done in the past days of your life.
All that you've done and experienced with that unique entire person,
Your body and your mind,
That is you.
And all that you've supported and enabled other people to do.
And let's be aware of the day of infinite possibility that lays ahead.
And it really is,
Isn't it?
So now I'm inviting you just to count the fingers on your left hand.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
So now count the fingers on your right hand.
Four,
Five.
Your hands are amazing,
Aren't they?
All that you have touched,
Carried and felt with those hands.
All that you have made and created.
And hands are amazing,
Aren't they?
The flexibility of shapes that you can make with them and continue to make each day.
Hardly noticing because you just do,
Don't you?
And now pay attention to your breath.
You may choose to breathe in through your nose to a count of four.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Out.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhaling just easily,
Nothing forced.
And we'll do that again.
In.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Out.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Before totally relaxing and letting your body breathe you,
As you follow my words,
As much as you want to,
Trusting that they will land in all the right spaces of you now.
Today's opportunity is to live it only once,
As comfortably as you wish and you are able.
To create your own pathway through your mind,
To expand each passing moment,
To focus with attention and intention on your holistic wellness.
And to know,
As you do know,
That you can create your own pathways through your mind and through your neurology.
Neuroplasticity,
Shaping and moulding to engage with and touch your now.
And the doors to your route of calmness,
Of choice over your direction,
Are always open.
And you can leave behind the ones that are no longer useful to you,
That may have served you well,
Yet have definitely served their purpose now.
Time to wave them bye-bye,
Maybe even thank them,
And move on.
So now,
Your life is all about the unconscious,
Unconscious paths you choose to tread and carve out for yourself,
To accept all that you are given within your own neurology.
And it's a bit like going on a walk through a landscape,
Isn't it?
Or maybe,
You know,
Imagining riding through a landscape on your bike,
Heading to where you fancy,
With relaxation,
Openness,
Confidence,
Excitement even.
And from time to time,
You might well see a bump in the road ahead that doesn't look so great,
So you swerve your attention to a different direction.
You're the rider.
Or you maybe feel an aversive sensation,
Or a jolt,
So you move around it.
Focus on the parts where the smooth and steady ground lies.
Or maybe just stop,
Breathe it through.
In,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Pause,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Look out to the space just beyond the edges of your body,
And choose a new direction.
Feeling your way toward the horizon of yourself,
And the space beyond,
And choosing to see and to do something slightly different,
Because you can.
Because you can.
And it's like that,
Isn't it?
We can look beyond,
Always,
Should we choose.
And when you feel something aversive,
As we all do,
You can stop,
You can refocus,
And you can allow and trust your whole body to be exactly as it needs to be right now.
And then you choose to move.
Be calm and confident,
As each day,
Each moment,
You engage slowly,
Surely,
And with increasing ease,
With deliberation,
To make a better pathway for your neurology,
A better pathway in your life,
For your well-being,
However you want that to look.
And you know,
Don't you,
That if you meditate in this way,
Every day,
You will impact your neuroplasticity,
To be able to move away from aversive stimuli and sensations,
And toward calmness,
A more enabling state,
Perhaps,
Of more freedom in your life,
Your choices,
Your health.
So,
You might want to end today's meditation by giving yourself some gratitude to your mind and body,
Because it has brought you so far,
And you have done some amazing things,
And you do have the gift of another day,
Moment by moment,
Now,
Now,
And now.
And maybe,
Gratitude to the kindness and the expertise that is always available to you now,
From within,
And without,
And now,
Now,
And now.
And set your intention for the day in peace and with love,
And knowing that you are loved and able.
Have a lovely day.
