Welcome to today's practice.

I am Dr.

Leandra Brady-Walker and today I will be guiding you from a place of suffering nothingness and loss to a place of possibility vulnerability where we can embrace the void.

If you have not done so make sure you are in a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed.

Your phone is on silent,

Notifications silenced and you have a warm comfortable place.

Perhaps you'd like to bring some of your favorite crystals,

Put some incense on,

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

In this practice it is based on the teachings of Dr.

Donald Epstein from Network Spinal and we will be moving through stages 1 to stage 8.

We will begin the practice in stage 1 of suffering.

In this stage the most important thing is to acknowledge that you are suffering.

You feel raw,

Paralyzed,

Disconnected.

There is longing,

Helplessness.

In this part the most important thing is to connect in with the body and to not deny anything we are feeling.

Once we realize we are suffering we can then ask for help and move ourselves into the realm of possibility.

Once we acknowledge our suffering we can release it because while our hands are busy holding our suffering we cannot reach out for new things,

People and experiences.

But the feeling of being open,

Vulnerable and raw is sometimes incredibly daunting and that is why I am here to guide you through it so that in the end we are left with gratitude for the possibility of what could be.

And now if you are ready we can begin.

Make sure you are seated upright in a comfortable position,

Spine straight,

Chin tucked in,

Hands relaxed by your sides.

If you feel safe to do so close down your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling the belly as much as possible.

Breathe out through the mouth with a sigh,

Letting go of everything that came before.

Take another deep breath in,

Feeling your belly as much as possible.

Breathe out with a sigh,

Sinking deeper into this moment.

Take the palm of your left hand and place it in the middle of your chest.

Take your right hand and place it over your left.

Now breathing deeply in through the nose,

Direct your breath right underneath your hands.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Slowing down your breath.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Slowing down,

Focusing your breath into your heart space.

Keep going like this in your own time,

Your own rhythm.

I will keep the time.

You just focus on your heart space,

Connecting with your beloved body.

Sometimes it feels so disconnected.

Sometimes it feels like it will never end.

Breathe deeply into your heart space.

Sometimes it feels so hopeless.

Sometimes it feels like it will never end.

Breathe deeply.

On your next inhale through your nose,

Open your arms wide.

Stretch your chest,

Your heart out forward.

Open your throat and ask,

God help me.

Universe be there for me.

The divine love,

I let it in.

Drop your arms back down into your lap.

Breathe,

Allowing your breath to come back to its own natural rhythm,

But keep your state.

Allow your body to move in whatever way feels comfortable.

Stretch,

Allow the energy to move through you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And taking three fingers of your left hand,

Place your middle finger right in the center of your chest,

Your ring and your pointer finger.

Gently place them above and below your middle finger.

Draw them towards that middle finger.

You will now have three fingers over your heart space.

Take the middle finger of your right hand.

Place it on your third eye between your eyebrows.

Your pointer finger will go above that on your forehead.

Your ring finger will go below that on the bridge of your nose.

Pull them together.

This is quite an active pose.

And now that you have your fingers in position,

Bring your left wrist at a right angle straight out in front of your chest and draw your right elbow to meet your left wrist.

A very active posture.

Take a moment to settle yourself in to this posture.

Feel what you feel.

Focus on your breath.

Allow the sensations to come.

As we move into the breath practice,

I will guide you and breathe with you in through the mouth,

Out through the nose.

Follow my breath.

We will be here for a while.

Stay with me.

I'm with you every step.

Opening to the void.

Stay with me.

Breathe with me.

Embrace the nothingness.

Almost there.

You're doing so well.

Nearly there.

One more breath.

Drop your hands to your lap.

Allow yourself to move,

To stretch.

Allow your breathing to return to normal.

How do you feel?

Raw,

Open,

Vulnerable.

Allow it all.

Let this energy move through you.

Give in,

Give over.

Feel the space.

Take two fingers now of your right or left hand.

Place it on your high heart space and gently begin to tap and repeat after me.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you for the space.

Thank you for the void.

I welcome new possibilities.

My hands are free to accept the new things,

The new possibilities,

The new experiences,

The new people.

I welcome them all.

I welcome the space of new possibilities.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I welcome it all.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Place your hand back over your heart space.

Breathe underneath your heart.

Allow your breathing to return to its own natural rhythm.

Place your hands in prayer position,

Thumbs resting over your heart space.

Bow your head in gratitude to yourself for being brave enough to embrace the suffering,

To acknowledge your pain and to let it go into the void,

Leaving you open to receive.

Thank you for carving out the time.

Thank you for joining me in this practice today.

Thank you.
