Good day and welcome to today's meditation on confidence and inner resilience.
My name is Dylan and I'm going to guide you through the next 10 minutes of your meditative practice to discover the incredible powers of our subconscious mind,
Unleashing the unlimited potential within yourself so that you can truly become the person that you want to be.
Confidence can come over us in waves.
Some days we feel incredibly empowered and ready to tackle the world and some days we just don't.
How do we ride the waves?
How do we find that confidence when we really feel low?
What can we possibly do to release those feelings of doubt and insecurity,
To discover the knowing that we truly are limitless?
In your own time and in your own way,
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Whether that be lying down or sitting straight.
Wherever you are,
I encourage you to find a lengthened spine so you feel there is a light pull of the crown of your head.
Once you've found this comfortable position,
I encourage you to close down the eyes if you haven't done so already and we'll focus in on the internal experience.
It doesn't mean you need to change anything right now.
It just means that we're changing our awareness from the external physical world and focusing on the internal.
I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath without necessarily changing the breath.
What does that breath feel like as it enters the body?
How low does it travel?
Is the breath easy or is it labored today?
As you begin to find yourself relaxing just a little bit deeper and focusing in on the sound of my voice,
Perhaps you can notice the texture of the breath.
Perhaps you can feel the way that the breath travels down the body,
Activating certain muscles.
And perhaps you're beginning to feel how that breath sends that motion of relaxation across the body.
As your conscious mind begins to surrender and you allow yourself to travel into the internal experience,
I invite you to bring your awareness towards the solar plexus just at the edge of the rib cage.
I invite you to feel this internal space,
Feel the area that this energy center takes up.
I invite you to feel and sense the space around your solar plexus.
On the outside of the body,
Simply becoming aware of its presence in space.
As you breathe deeply,
I want you to visualize in your mind's eye,
You're inhaling a beautiful golden light and with each exhale you're releasing any sense of doubt or insecurity you may have been carrying with you today.
Inhaling that sense of confidence and knowing that you have all the resources you need today.
As you exhale that doubt and release any burdens that you may have brought with you today,
I invite you to leave them at the door.
As you sit here inhaling that sense of positivity and exhaling the negative emotions,
I want you to picture yourself at your favorite beach.
I want you to feel the sand underneath your feet,
Perhaps hear the sounds of the waves crashing and feel the warmth of the sun upon your skin.
As you sit here the feeling of that warmth from the sun's rays which is just perfect begins to fill you with an undoubtedly beautiful sense of confidence.
And you can feel your self-esteem increasing,
You can feel your self-confidence growing,
Your enthusiasm for life looking forward to the challenges.
As you now breathe with a new sense of optimism,
New enthusiasm,
A happy self-assured inner you begins to emerge.
As you now see yourself as a positive individual who sees the problems only as opportunities,
As your sense of patience and calm and harmony begins to wash over you.
As the waves come in and out you begin to let go of all fear-based emotions such as blame,
Jealousy,
Guilt,
Anger,
Possessiveness.
These negative emotions are now becoming part of your past and you only use them as building block for a more positive future.
As you keep your mind calm like the water you remain centered at all times,
Physically relaxed,
Emotionally calm,
Mentally focused and alert.
With the awareness that you get to choose the outcomes of your thoughts,
Which thoughts are you going to pay attention to and which thoughts are you going to let wash away like the waves.
It's up to you and only you for you to choose.
Isn't that cool?
As you take another deep breath in,
I want you to acknowledge that you can come back to this beach within your mind's eye whenever you wish,
Whenever you feel you need a bit of a confidence boost.
You can feel the sun's rays in your mind's eye filling you with that sense of confidence and reassurance that you've got this.
You can do anything you set your mind to.
As you deepen your breath,
You bring your awareness back to the body.
You begin to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes as you slowly begin to come back to the present moment ready to tackle the day knowing that all that power is yours for the taking.
You've got this.
