Welcome,

My friend.

This is for you if you feel overwhelmed or the self-doubt is rising as you start something new This is for you to remember that you can overcome anything You,

My friend,

You can do hard things Arrive in your body here Closing your eyes softly if you'd like Take a deep breath in through your nose Open mouth exhale Right away starting to let go of any built-up tension,

Anxiety,

Frustration Inhale deeply Exhale,

Release If it feels safe to you,

Begin tapping your heart Bringing your hands to your heart and using your fingertips to just tap,

Tap,

Tap,

Tap your heart This is for you to awaken your heart Maybe reopening your heart because when things get difficult,

When we get frustrated because of a challenge,

Our heart tends to close So tap your heart,

Tap,

Tap,

Tap,

Tap Feel your heart opening and lifting,

Your shoulders pulling back Tapping up to your collarbones,

Down your sternum,

Over your heart My heart is open I can do hard things Allow the hands to rest,

Palms up,

Resting your hands on your lap Breathe in,

Breathe out Notice the difference in your heart Feel the difference in your heart Breathe out Notice the difference in your heart There is a reason you are faced with this challenge It's a part of your growth,

You are learning You are expanding And I know it's easy to want to wish it away May you trust the process And when your heart feels overwhelmed,

Remember you can do anything Just not everything all at once One thing at a time One breath at a time There is no rush You are right on time Breathe in,

Breathe out Breathe in,

Breathe out My friend,

We are far more adaptable than we realize As you step into this challenge May you remember the last time something felt really challenging And then you adapted It's just what we do Don't forget how well you adapt Don't forget all the difficult things you've already gotten through Right here,

Can you feel your resiliency rise within you?

Breathe in,

Breathe out I am capable I am capable I am capable D-man writes,

Remember the purpose of your hard days is not to make you feel weak or overwhelmed The purpose of them is to help you notice the strength you carry within yourself And to remind you that even when you doubt yourself,

Even when you feel weak and not enough You are still strong and capable You are enough And this feeling of strangeness in your heart is just a temporary phase And no matter how long it takes you to change your circumstances You are always capable of growing and rising stronger through them The purpose of your hard days is not to make you feel weak and overwhelmed The purpose of them is to help you notice the strength you carry One step at a time and you will make it through Breathe in,

Let it go Can you feel a shift within you?

A little less frustration and anxiety A little more trust and surrender I can do hard things My friend,

You can prove yourself wrong,

You can surprise yourself But you have to keep going,

Keep trying One breath at a time,

Breathe in,

Release Wiggling your fingers,

Your toes Maybe pull your heart open once more and drop the shoulders Big inhale,

Big exhale From my heart to yours From my heart to yours

Thank you Eileen. Being an Empath and highly sensitive, the holidays can make me feel so overwhelmed and anxious. This morning I was having full blown anxiety from the moment I woke up. I could feel a panic sneaking in during my day. I tried guided meditation, walking, breathing and could not get myself out of it. I turned to this meditation and the tapping of my heart just made a flood of tears release. I finally felt able to get a grip on myself again. I need to be more mindful of starting my mornings with some me time so I don’t get so overwhelmed frantic and flustered during my day. I need more grounding. I am guilty of not staying accountable to my needs. Please advise how to get better at this. Thank you so much for this practice today.
