The holidays can feel overwhelming with their endless to-do lists, big expectations, and pressure to make everything perfect. But what if the magic isn't in the big things at all? This meditation invites you to pause, breathe, and release the weight of holiday stress and anxiety. Through gentle guidance, you'll shift your focus to the small, meaningful moments—the laughter, the connection, the quiet joys—and reconnect to what truly matters. Hi my friend.

Close your eyes if that feels safe.

Breathe in.

Start to feel the noise around you fade away.

Allow yourself to soften into your internal world where it's quiet and calm.

Letting go of the weight of worry.

Letting go of what's next.

Trusting that it will all come together.

Just be here for now.

Steady inhale.

Steady exhale.

So often we focus on the big things.

And we allow this to overwhelm us.

To stress us out this time of year.

What if the things that you are getting caught up in don't matter?

What if all the things that are causing you stress don't actually matter all that much?

Breathe around that and let it all go.

Notice what story you're telling yourself.

Ali Leah writes,

And one day you realize it was never about the big things.

You realize it's actually about the little moments that feel like magic.

It's about the simplest of seconds that make you smile.

It's about the genuine experiences that fill your heart with joy.

It's about the conversations that make you believe in kindness and compassion.

It's about the hugs you want to hold for that little bit longer.

It's about surrounding yourself with people that feel like sunshine.

It's about the moments of peace and stillness that prove how beautiful the world can be.

It was never about the big things.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

My friend,

How can you focus on the little things?

What truly matters to you?

Notice how your heart has steadied.

Feeling peace and calm rise within you.

May you continue to refocus on what matters,

Let go of what doesn't serve you.

The things that feel big that are really just distracting you from the small moments of magic.

Slow down.

Be here.

It was never about the big things.

It will never be about the big things.

Breathe in.

Feel really rooted and held by whatever's supporting you,

The chair,

The ground.

Become aware of your hands and where they are resting.

Relax your jaw.

Feel this soft,

Warm energy wash over you.

Peace.

Calm.

Carry this with you.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Bring movement into your fingertips,

Your toes.

With a soft smile,

Blink your eyes open if they were closed.

From my heart to yours.

Lovely as always thanks Eileen. This was very helpful in reducing some of the pre- holidays hyperarousal. I'm still in awe of your prolificacy. ❤️🙏
