Do you know how important is to honor self-love? For you to love other people, you need to learn how to love yourself first. If you look, you can find many reasons to love yourself. You too have a lot of wonderful things that the world will appreciate if you share.

How much do you love yourself and honor your needs?

Do you even know your needs?

Do you know yourself?

Please listen on.

I am going to start with a small anecdote.

Do you feel disconnected despite being busy?

I am sure you can relate to this.

And if you are,

You certainly need to work more on yourself.

We live in a society driven by the ego,

Rushing here and there,

And more and more acting like robots.

Perhaps this is the life that every single human has been building for decades,

But certainly we are worsening in this aspect.

Because in this aspect,

Indeed,

We are not doing good.

If you find yourself disconnected besides being busy,

It's time to start realigning with your wants and wishes.

And of course,

This takes an effort.

There are very few teachings out there regarding the importance of loving yourself and your self-connection.

Probably you have heard a lot about being team-oriented individual,

Thinking about the bigger picture,

And sacrificing yourself for success and for the greater good.

While these statements are true,

You are forgetting the most essential one,

Which is self-love,

And taking into account what you truly need.

Otherwise,

You will push yourself to the point of exhaustion and beyond.

I am sure you have already been there a few times.

Perhaps the first step is for you to know what it means to be self-connected.

The meaning here is to have a greater alignment in your life.

It is not difficult,

It is quite easy,

But you need to put some proper effort into your self-love,

And wanting to have a greater relationship with yourself.

One easy step here is to give yourself,

For starters,

About 10 or 15 minutes of introspection time at the end of the day where no one will disrupt you.

Ultimately,

You want to do this through the day,

But starting at night is easy.

You are used to rushing and multitasking,

But this doesn't promote wellness.

You must understand your limitations and when you need to give yourself a break.

You need to be more observant of your own needs and energy.

It is not about pushing,

Definitely not.

Not pushing it until you are completely depleted,

But organizing yourself so that you can properly administer your time and energy.

So,

It would help if you had a good idea of what is going on in your life,

And how you are handling it.

If you find proper self-love,

You will find the time to invest in proper planning,

Taking into account yourself.

From here,

You will spot the changes you need to make,

And there is only one thing left.

Take action.

Your efforts will pay off because now you are making changes based on what you need with a better energetic administration.

Here,

We have a no-brainer,

So I will go to the point.

You cannot just go through life without deciding.

Keep into account the analogy from the full tarot card.

If you go making reckless decisions,

You can have an unexpected outcome that perhaps you didn't want.

Here,

You have an example while being present in the now is important.

If you yield and divide attention to your situation and actions,

You will be ready for any sudden change or challenge.

You will be ready for anything adding a lot of self-confidence.

When you become aware of this,

You will start thinking things twice before making a decision.

You need to have an appropriate self-love because you need to be considered to yourself.

This doesn't mean that you must step on others,

But you need to keep a proper balance.

If you want to perform at your best and be at your best for others,

Then you need to be at your best with yourself first.

By knowing yourself,

You will be able to understand this a lot better.

Do you like monotony?

I am sure you don't,

Or at least not for everything in your life.

However,

Sometimes you can add a lot of monotony to your life unnecessarily.

If you are connected to yourself,

You will be more in control,

More authentic,

And more aware of how things are flowing.

Just from this alone is worth making a change and improving your self-love.

But there are more reasons.

Emotional suppression.

Life will feel more dull and you will develop an inability to feel and accept emotions.

On top of this,

You will tend to fall into negative coping mechanisms,

Greatly limiting your ability to experience joy and happiness.

Lack of self-understanding.

You will just go through life in automatic mode because you have to,

Reducing the importance you project towards authenticity for happiness.

You will have a harder time discovering and honoring personal desires and ambitions.

You will decrease your ability to tap into intuition,

Decreasing further your self-love.

Externalized happiness.

You will find your drive only by receiving approval from third parties.

You should integrate this approval first,

Or make the required changes.

Others,

You will always find yourself seeking fulfillment outside of yourself.

You need to realize that happiness lies within.

Integrate your emotions by finding happiness starting with self-love.

Uncontrolled thoughts.

Are you that person who always wants to be happy?

Self-destructive comments.

For example,

Making jokes about insert a self-diminishing statement here.

You are being unaware of self-sabotaging thoughts,

Or you just ignore the harm they do to you.

You need to open up more your heart chakra and understand the importance of awareness and mindfulness.

Social discomfort.

You probably are struggling to connect authentically with others at a personal or professional level because you don't,

Or want to,

How to be yourself.

You need to honor yourself before others can value you.

A lot of valuing comes from social expectations,

And you need to stop that and embrace with love your flaws.

I encourage you to open up more,

Once you know how.

The show comes from self-love and being connected with yourself.

So as you can see,

These are very strong situations that you need to keep into account.

You don't need to shift 180 degrees as soon as you finish reading or listening or understanding everything related to self-love.

However,

You can start finding some time to sit in silence and connect with yourself a little bit.

So how about the benefits?

You can guess,

Lots of them.

And to go to the point to make your life more awesome and a richer life,

You will have the ability to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

On top of this,

You will feel capable and empowered to overcome anything that comes at you.

You will have great mental strength and more resilience,

With a great ability to practice mindfulness and presence.

You will allow yourself to have,

Where you bring positivism to your life,

Such as pursuing activities that bring happiness.

From here,

You will get used to exploring your needs more deeply,

And invest time in listening to what you need.

From here,

Your self-love will grow.

So how to build a stronger connection with yourself?

The first step is simple,

When there is a will,

There is a result.

Only the fact that you are listening to me now,

You are already doing a favor to yourself since you are seeking to improve your self-love.

So,

Be happy for what you are doing to yourself now,

And keep reading.

I am giving you some steps for you to get started in building a stronger connection with yourself.

Forgive yourself.

You must start here.

For proper self-care,

Forgiving yourself is imperative.

You make this happen with one step at a time.

You need to slowly understand the big picture to better know what you did wrong,

If any.

From here,

You have the opportunity to learn from your mistakes and have a stronger approach next time.

At this point,

You only need to head and let go of the negative emotions.

Aka forgiving yourself.

Now that you have learned and grown stronger,

This negativity doesn't serve a purpose anymore.

Honor your self-love here,

Please.

The beginning of your healing is when you grow from past mistakes while leaving them behind.

Limit destructive affirmations.

Here,

There is no deep secret,

But your willingness to heal or hurt yourself.

Why would you critique yourself based on some stereotypes?

You might even laugh when you call yourself something hurtful or negative.

Why?

You need to understand and you need to start saying positive things about yourself.

Don't be ridiculous and think you got nothing positive.

If you think so,

You have a lot of introspection to do,

Because you certainly don't know yourself,

And you are doing yourself very wrong.

Identify strengths and opportunities.

To continue with the above mentioned,

Instead of always evoking how bad you are at something,

Or how ugly whatever part of your body looks like,

Start saying how good you are with helping others,

Or how beautiful your eyes are.

You need to evoke your strengths because when you do,

You will be able to seek the right opportunities to continue improving your life and your self-love.

Add meditation to your life.

To help yourself,

Meditation will help you very much.

You can get started with these self-awareness meditations.

You only need to invest 5 or 10 minutes of your time.

Ok,

Perhaps 15 for some.

You will start growing better in your power.

Seek professional help.

If you have a hard time on your own,

You can always have some options.

Unless it is a psychological problem,

You can work with a spiritual healer and coach.

And as you can see,

They are simple steps,

But you need to take them.

You should not feel bad if you can't help yourself.

But you need to give a try.

If you want to improve,

You already are bringing self-love to your life by wanting this.

Now,

You gotta take the easiest and the smallest first step.

Then take another one.

And another one.

And another one.

And from here,

If you believe that you need mental professional help,

Please don't hesitate in doing so.

Because the key to self-love is accepting that you are unique,

Like every single individual.

And from there,

What you need to do to honor that.

Certainly,

We don't come from an assembly line.

More the society wants to shape us in the following trends and celebrities,

As well as having common ones.

However,

This doesn't mean that you cannot honor your individuality with great self-love for who you are.

It makes a lot of sense,

Now more than ever,

To find our individuality,

And not to just follow what people that surround you are following.

At least,

First see if you,

At least,

Resonate with what you follow and why.

We are souls who are incarnated as human beings to have different amount of experiences.

Each one has a different combination of life purposes,

Soul agreements and desires.

On top of this,

You have a free will,

The power of decision.

You need to own this.

I mean it.

Because if you do,

You will live an amazing life.

You can be part of this society,

Even follow trends and other people that you look up to.

But always with great individuality and self-love for who you are.
