This practice is a time for us to review and reflect on our week and forgive ourselves for past missteps. We are invited to take a moment and appreciate life as it is. We can relax and allow strife to fall away. Through each one of us, God covers all of creation.

Find as comfortable a seating position as you can.

I'm going to join you.

And in this comfortable seating,

Take a moment to catch our breath,

To find our space,

To be here now.

Allow yourself to be held by the seat that you're in.

You're just here now.

Be one with your breath.

And take a moment to find an anchor,

A space to draw you back to your breath.

When thoughts come,

When feelings arrive,

When lists begin to be created.

That anchor is a place for you to begin again.

Your anchor can be your upper lip,

Can be your soft belly,

Can even be your hands or even your feet on the floor.

Whatever it takes to ground you in this present moment.

Begin to integrate into your breathing appreciation.

Appreciation for the gifts that you have received.

You may even welcome those gifts,

That appreciation with a smile,

A bodily response to gratitude.

Stay here now with the gifts.

Now in this moment of appreciation,

Let us also focus on the giver.

The one who gives life,

Providence,

Sustenance.

The one whose name is compassion and mercy.

The one whose name is love and peace.

And now let us take that appreciation of the giver of gifts,

Compassion,

Mercy,

Love and peace.

Take this one with us as we begin to review our week.

Take a moment day by day,

Start at any point.

If it's helpful to move chronologically,

Please do so.

If it's helpful for you to find a moment in time during the week and focus in on it.

Whatever comes naturally to you in this moment,

Take the next few minutes to review your week.

Each one of us turn the yjparts and says hello to hisrange,

He says thank you for being here.

Sounds come and go.

Thoughts come and go.

Feelings come and go.

You don't have to attach yourself to any one of them.

Allow them to do what they're doing.

You are present now.

They just become part of maybe you're weak.

Find your anchor.

Come back to your breath.

Begin again.

You come to a point where.

.

.

We've reviewed part of our week,

Or maybe all of our week.

Some of us maybe twice.

Maybe something has come up for you.

A mistake or a misstep,

A miscommunication along the way.

Take a moment to ask for forgiveness.

Forgiveness for being ego-focused,

Rude,

Disconnected.

Allow God to take that on.

And now,

Forgive yourself.

Now that God has it,

Let it go.

And while we're letting that go,

Let's take on something new for this week.

Let's set our intention on appreciating life as it is.

Not as it used to be,

Or some projected future where we impose expectations or rules.

Instead,

What does it look like to take life as it is?

With all of its imperfections,

Its turbulence,

And strife.

Just be.

Just live.

Breathe into that reality.

And now let us breathe together.

The prayer Jesus taught us to pray.

Our Father,

Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
