Hello everybody my name is Gayle Joy and I welcome you to warming up our voice through vibrational sound.

So let's just start with finding a comfortable upright position making sure that your shoulders are relaxed,

Your spines pulled up through the crown of your head and connect with your breath as you breathe in expand your body in every direction and as you breathe out letting go releasing and again as you breathe in expand your body in every direction and as you breathe out letting go and one more time breathing in expanding and as you breathe out letting go the physical body and the mental body any thoughts just coming into stillness.

So now we're just going to learn how to warm up our voice it's very important to do to make sure the vocal cords the throat area is warmed up so we don't strain anything there.

We're going to start off with three simple sounds working with each one individually the first one is the O sound and visualizing it down in the lower belly so either following me or sounding the same time that I am it's up to you but just take a breath in and just sound the O as long as your exhale happens take a breath in You may find that that your sound is deeper or higher it doesn't matter at this stage it's your sound just feeling it down in the abdominal abdominal area allowing it to extend with your breath just feeling the effect of that in your body we're now going to bring our attention and focus up to into the heart area and the sound will be the ah so taking a breath in ah if you're finding it a little bit difficult relax your jaw again don't worry if it's lower or higher than my sound and just extend it to the length of your out breath now we're going to go up a little bit higher and the sound will be an e sound taking a breath in you might find that the last sound gets longer you might find you start to cough that's a good sign you're releasing things out of your throat chakra and now we're just going to play a little bit more with opening up a voice warming it up we're taking the first sound and we're going to play with it a little bit so it's the o sound and if you feel follow me Oh Oh just feel the effect of that and now we're going to do the same thing with the I sound ah ah Beautiful.

And now we're going to move up to the higher sound and again it can be a different range to me.

Take a breath in.

Hee hee hee hee hee on this beautiful just feel the effect of that in your body connect with your breath has it expanded does your body feel more spacious just acknowledge observe the effect and today I'll just add one more sound and it's coming from it's like a yawn so it'll be like ah and one more ah beautiful that is a quick and easy snippet of how we can warm up our voice using vibrational sounds and how it feels good within our body and being I hope you enjoyed and if you feel to do more meditations with me or just sit back and relax and listen to the sound resonate through your whole body and being then check out my next meditations thank you
