This is a guided meditation on devotion. Devotion is the heart space where the teachings of love rest. The heart holds true wisdom and spiritual integrity when we've learned to harmonize the different parts of us into clear knowing. It is the space of integration where all parts of us cohere in a web of connection.

Welcome,

This is a guided meditation on devotion,

One of the three channels of God fellowship from Malchut.

So go ahead and find a comfortable place to sit and simply close the eyes and feel the breath,

Feel the body,

Feel the ground holding you.

And in this moment,

Just notice that there's nothing to do,

There's nothing to solve,

There's nothing to fix.

It's simply about being in this time and space.

And this quality of being allows us to access different states of consciousness.

And in this meditation,

We are going to highlight devotion.

So see if you can put your awareness into the heart space.

The heart is that channel of love,

Of dedication,

Of surrender.

And see if you can see within yourself,

What are you devoted to?

What are you dedicated to?

What does your heart yearn for?

Just allow for that beating of the heart to guide you.

And as thoughts or the mind becomes active,

We just notice it and we redirect into the heart.

And we let the heart teach us what it knows.

A mind cannot understand what the heart knows.

So rather than try to understand through the mind,

We go directly into the heart.

And the heart is a space of connection,

Of interconnection.

It is connected to all life,

To all beings,

To all of creation.

And there's this connection between the interconnection of all life and devotion.

Devotion lets us surrender into our service,

Into our mission,

Our purpose,

The why we are here.

Can we let ourselves open to love?

Can we let ourselves give love?

Can we let the heart lead us?

Perhaps there are blocks or wounds or whatever it may be.

But in this moment,

We will just experiment with seeing what it's like to let the heart lead anyways,

Even through the wounds and through the pain,

Whatever blocks there might be.

Devotion is choosing,

Consistently choosing the heart.

It's knowing that the other path will lead us astray.

Once we close our heart,

We lose everything.

So devotion is that practice of opening the heart,

Of listening to the heart,

Of purifying the fear and transforming it into love.

Perhaps you are devoted to your work or to another being,

To nature,

To life force,

To God,

Whatever it may be.

Just see what it's like to feel that energy of devotion,

To be unafraid of it,

To feel that loyalty in it,

The stability,

The heart opening.

And just see what your heart desires more,

What would help it be more in devotion.

Perhaps a song or dance or breath or arch.

What inspires your heart to awaken?

There's no one answer,

There's no one way,

Because your heart is the guide to the infinite.

So this is a moment to simply get to know your own heart.

What is the path of your heart?

Where is your heart guiding you to?

And what does it feel like to feel this quality of devotion?

So take another moment here,

Harvesting whatever wisdom wants to be remembered from this meditation.

Feeling the breath and the body,

Feeling the heart,

Knowing that whether you are aware or not,

The heart continues to guide you.

So in your own timing,

Simply return to the breath and come into this moment in time,

Gently opening the eyes,

Looking around the room and taking a moment to feel how this meditation has moved you.
