Greetings and welcome to our New Moon Meditation Week for the dawning of the Flower Moon.
I am Helen Marie,
African Kemetic Yoga Teacher and Intuition Activator and the founder of Happy Chrysalis.
This week I'll be taking you through five new meditations exploring the African Kemetic Principle of Heru.
Heru is the principle of free will that we all have within us.
In order to be the fully unique manifestation of God Consciousness that we all are,
Means that we must each have and step into our own free will to create reality just as God Consciousness does.
Heru empowers us to use our free will in the most effective way in our lives.
The first step to doing this is being able to differentiate between our will and our desires.
Being emotionally attached to our desires can rob us of our freedom by causing us to prioritize instant gratification,
Or acting on emotional impulses over our highest intention.
For example,
How many times have you chosen from a higher intention that you want to wake up early to practice yoga or exercise,
But then when the morning comes you have not been able to leave the comfort of your bed?
Ask yourself,
Do you truly have free will if you are a slave to your emotions?
So in this meditation I'll be taking you to the energetic frequency where you'll be able to disentangle your will from your emotions.
We'll be using heart congruence as taught by the Institute of Intuitive Intelligence to bring you into your highest vibrational state which is peace.
Heart congruence works by diverting your attention from your thinking mind,
Which is stimulated by the physical senses,
To your heart center,
Which is in constant communication with your energetic field.
By aligning to your heart you are able to consciously clear blockages to intuition and reprogram your mind at the subconscious level.
I'll be using sound bulbs to help neutralize any energetic disturbances in your energy field,
Which will ease you moving into this vibrational state.
Before we begin,
I invite you to identify a place that you find peaceful.
This could be the beach,
Your bedroom,
A mountain,
The forest.
I just ask that it's somewhere that you've been before so that you can fully embody the feeling of peace that comes to you when you're in this place.
So let's begin.
So I ask you to be in a comfortable seated position where you'll not be disturbed for the next few minutes.
I recommend that you are in a seated position with your spine upright rather than lying down,
Because you'll be going into a deeply meditative state which is close to the frequency of sleep.
So lying down may make you accidentally fall asleep and you want to be alert in this meditation.
Now I invite you to close your eyes as long as it's safe for you to do so.
If it isn't safe for you to do so,
Then I invite you to just soften your gaze downwards,
To draw your attention away from what's going on around you.
And now we'll take a few deep cleansing breaths in through the nose,
Extending the breath for a count of four and drawing the air into your abdomen.
And now release the air through the mouth,
Letting out an audible sigh if you feel comfortable to do so.
We'll take another deep cleansing breath in through the nose,
Filling up the abdomen,
Expanding into the chest to fully fill your lungs with new fresh oxygen.
And then release the air from the abdomen once again,
Contracting your muscles into your spine,
To push out any stale air that's in the depths of your lungs.
We'll take another deep cleansing breath in,
In through the nose,
Expanding the abdomen,
And then releasing the air through the mouth,
Letting out a sigh if you're comfortable to do so.
Now I invite you to relax your breathing so that you're breathing at a pace that's natural to you,
But slightly deeper than you normally would as you go through your day-to-day life.
With your eyes closed and your breath deepened,
You're signaling to your body that you are safe,
And it can move you out of the fight-or-flight,
High-alert beta brainwave state,
Into the more relaxed,
Rest and restorative,
Parasympathetic beta brainwave state.
Just connecting with your breath there.
Now that you're aligned with your own breathing rhythm,
I invite you to lightly place your hand to the center of your chest,
Making contact with your heart center.
You can either place two fingers,
Your full hand,
Or both of your hands,
Depending on how you feel more comfortable.
I'll now bring in the bowls.
So now that you have your hands connected with your heart center,
I invite you to initially sense into the feeling,
The physical sensation of your heart.
Maybe you can feel your heartbeat through your chest,
And invite you just to give thanks and feel into the gratitude that you have for everything that your heart does for you on a daily basis.
Its only mission is to keep you alive.
I now invite you to connect in to the emotions that you're feeling at this time.
Maybe you're feeling safe,
Maybe you're feeling nervous,
Maybe you're feeling joyful,
Or maybe you're feeling tired.
Either way,
I invite you to connect into the vibrational feeling of your current emotions.
Do not resist anything that comes up.
Be in pure acceptance of how you feel right now.
As you connect into your emotional field,
You may start to feel an expansive vibrational energy around your heart center,
Or around the top part of your body.
Feel into that emotional state as much as possible.
And now I invite you to call to mind,
In your mind's eye,
That place that you identified which you find peaceful.
Visualize yourself in this place right now.
And now with your hands and your mind still connected to your energetic field,
I invite you to connect into that feeling of peace that you feel in this place.
Embody this feeling of peace as much as possible.
You may feel a smile come across your face.
Allow your body to relax into this emotional state as much as possible.
Now that you're connected into this emotional space,
I invite you to visualize as if you had a volume knob that you could turn to dial up the emotion just a little bit more.
Feeling into this sense of peace as much as you possibly can.
Just hold this vibration for the next couple of minutes.
And now with your hands and your mind still connected to this place,
You you you I'm now going to slowly call your attention back into the room counting down from 10 9 8 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 And now invite you to open your eyes and bring some movement back into your body Wiggling your fingers,
Your toes,
Maybe taking a light stretch Being able to find peace behind your current emotional state Sets the foundation for you to be free to be present enough to act in alignment with your highest will and intuition This gives you clarity,
Focus and therefore true freedom As we go into this new moon,
I invite you to set your intentions for what you want to create for yourself this month And use this idea of being able to access stillness behind your emotions So that you are not derailed from bringing about your desires By going into this meditation you are hopefully able to see that it's possible to identify your current emotional state And then take yourself to a place of peace and a place of stillness behind your current emotions This place of stillness behind your current emotional state is in this place of stillness that you'll be best able to hear your intuition As we go into this new moon,
I invite you to set your intentions for what you want to create for yourself this month And use this idea of being able to access stillness behind your emotions so that you're not derailed from bringing about your desires Here's an affirmation that you can use daily I am able to find my stillness behind my emotions I am able to find my stillness behind my emotions Thank you for joining me today for our first new moon meditation,
