My name is Simon and welcome to Happy Mind Meditations.
Today's meditation is a sleep meditation focused on self-love.
We have been sold the idea that we should be deserving of something in life,
Deserving of love,
Of joy and abundance.
In reality though,
Does a baby in the womb deserve love?
Does someone you care for deeply deserve your love?
No.
What we define as deserving of love is different for every individual and is usually a result of where we've been shown love in our own personal life experience.
For example,
If we've been given a lot of praise and love for our achievements from our peers or parents growing up,
Then we will associate that with love and our self-worth.
But beyond any gifts or skills you may have lies your true self-worth,
Which exists just for being.
You cannot alter this.
We are all born into creation,
Not questioning this understanding.
The truth is you are worthy just for being.
Once we recognize this,
It will spill into every other area of your life where you might be subconsciously holding back your love.
It's simply up to you to recognize this love,
Connect with it,
And begin practicing its awareness in your own life.
So this meditation was created to help shift your subconscious mind into a positive mindset around your physical and emotional self-worth.
By creating newer,
Healthier belief systems,
You will step into a newfound sense of peace and self-confidence.
You will sink into a deep sleep and wake in the most revitalized and in a more positive state of mind.
Listening to this meditation each night will help retrain any negative subconscious thought patterns around love.
And with this new relationship with yourself programmed into your subconscious mind,
You will begin to naturally feel this inherent truth.
And right before you drift off to sleep is the most powerful time to influence your subconscious mind.
As you drift off to sleep listening to my voice,
Your subconscious mind will take over and continue to receive the positive affirmations as you sleep.
The affirmations used are centered around powerful belief systems that lay the foundation for self-love and are designed to help you remember and embody your true worthiness.
So let's first begin by focusing on just one thing that happened in our day today that made you feel grateful.
Gratitude is the most powerful way to tap into your higher self.
So bring to mind something that happened could be as simple as your morning cup of tea.
Just focus and bring to mind this one thing you're grateful for,
However big or small.
And allow yourself to bring yourself to this moment and go deeper into this moment.
Using your senses,
What can you see?
How did the air smell?
Was there any taste involved?
Just appreciate that moment again.
Prepare your mind and body for sleep and relaxation.
And as you continue to take slow,
I want you to imagine on the exhale that you're letting go of all of the stress and worries of your day.
Now imagine it like black smoke leaving your body.
Starting with your toes.
Relaxing.
Heavy.
As you sink deeper and deepest.
Just enjoy this relaxed experience.
Now we're going to place our hands over our heart.
Just notice the sensations as you tune into your heart.
And as we focus on our heart center.
And as you feel this intention rise.
Just continue to take slow,
Deep breaths in.
Feeling your heart center expand.
If you notice any thoughts still going around in your mind.
And just sink into trust.
Everything you have asked for is taken care of.
Deeper into relaxation.
You notice your eyelids getting heavier.
You feel yourself sinking deeper into the bed.
It feels so good to rest your head into your comfortable pillow.
So tired and drowsy.
Feel your body sink deeper.
And receive these affirmations as you sleep peacefully.
My happiness begins with me.
I deserve kindness.
I trust myself to make the best decisions for my life.
I trust my intuition.
I choose to focus on my strengths.
Rather,
My happiness begins with me.
Especially from myself.
Just as I am.
